HANDY DANDY ISO SET GUIDE:

>Does the character have a decent amount of iframes, a reliable shield, invulnerability, or decent healing? It its health not that great? Is it's attack damage godtier, or utter trash but its survivability already stupid high?
Attack set (Power of Angry Hulk, Overdrive, Hawks Eye)
Examples: Groot, Red Hulk, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Squirrel Girl, Elsa, Captain Marvel, Ghost Rider

>Does a character have decent health and defense values? IE can it take some good face hits (tanking)? Is its damage decent and can tank hits or does it have a reflect ability that will deal most of its damage that way?
Heal set (I Am Also Groot, Stark Backing)
Examples: Captain America, Bullseye, Destroyer

>Does the character not really have any iframes, invulnerability, shields, reflects, etc and its health and defensive stats aren't good enough to take some hits?
Drastic Density Enhancement, then throw it in the trash
Examples: Redskull, Black Cat

Every other set is garbage.

Note: Some characters, depending on how you want to focus them, can do decently with either heal or damage ISO sets.

I have that exact same thought every time I check out my roster.
I'd T2 Bullseye, but he's really good along with Sif for a duo on relay floors or with a Crossbones lead for rumbles so I can't break the team up.

Mordo may be good, but he's been kind of a pain in the ass to farm, and I just hit my 5 character benchmark for blast.

Venom, Black Cat, Ultron and Kingpin are shit and can't solo a floor on their own.

I'm almost tempted to pick Ock since he's the only one left and I doubt his quality.

That's what I kind of figured since she's too soft and lacking in defensive capabilities to last long enough to make use of heal or damage procs.

I typically use wasp or AO for female, was considering T2ing Elektra for it, but she's a hero for whatever reason and I need villain padding.
If she could do Loki reliably I'd consider her for sure along with any villain specific floor options.

My songbird and IF are at 8 gears and haven't been updated at all. The rest of my 6* guys are alright. The highest I've been in SL is fl2.

I think the hate comes from characters acting too goofy and a general >not like muh comics. Hate for Drax is a bit unwarranted since even classic Drax was a giant autist (Starlin even approves of MCU Drax's characterisation). Quill should have been a little more serious but he's just the same character from the first movie, making quips about earth childhood pop references.
Also the humour is too much in some instances and some jokes fall flat. Sometimes it ruins the impact of a scene or it drags on for too long and ends up feeling like a comedy sketch shoved in. Also Gunn gets a little carried away (Taserface, Kraglin, etc).

The only heal he has with the new uni is it's proc which leaves a small healing field you have to stand on. It's pretty worthless since standing still is a death sentence for him.
A Recovery Rate and heal proc would probably be better I'd think because then you would at least have something you can depend on.

I've been asking myself the same question for a while and last night was another moment.

Malekith should be able to do it at T2 I think. He has two AoE attacks and if you have his uni, he has healing. Also worth noting is the physical reflect in the WWH rumble, so most of your choices will be bodied easy.

Unfortunately the T2 bonus hero killer attribute and his hardly ever proccing passive are worthless for quite a few things, this being one of them.

He has a lot of really great tools thanks to his kit and uni, but his leadership, passive, and T2 leave a lot to be desired. Luckily however he gets a pretty decent raw stat boost from T2ing at least.
