How do rogues in fit in lore wise in this game? Everyone class has some major factor that allows them to succeed.

Like warlocks, have demons, shadow and destruction magic. Mages have the arcane and elements. Warriors have insane strength and combat capabilities.

Basics of dungeons and dragons. If a monster has 10 defense and rolls a 6 you have to add your current attack power to your dice roll to see if you beat the monsters defense+dice roll. If your attack is millions higher than the enemies defense, Your dice roll is moot and you'll do crazy damage off your attack alone which is what's happening.

Sort of concerned about it being a 2 spec class. Some classes right now have 3 horrible specs, wouldn't be surprising if the entire class during certain patches was totally unviable.

So many DHs in game you'll have to compete against all of them to get invites to raids. Unless you're of extraordinary ilvl no one is looking for DHs.

If you're looking for casual play, look at paladins and monks. They have one dps spec and majority of the time play in that spec. Could you stand playing on spec 99% of the time? At least warlocks/hunters/mages/warriors and most hybrids have different playstyles.

I have been hopping from class to class since forever and I've ignored dks from the start. I finally gave them a try and I think I have finally found a main. I can switch between all three specs and have fun and not get bored.

If you're okay with playing one spec 99% of the time, then yea go for it. I suggest giving it a try anyway to see if you will like it. I myself can't stick to one class for more than a week if I don't like every spec they have to offer.

I mained a DH this expansion, was a rough start before the 7.1.5 class changes, and at low iL fury generation is a pain in the ass. They are a builder/spender class, but the optimal talent changes your main builder (demons bite) into a passive ability that just increases auto attack damage whilst still generating fury. Problem is that this fucking sucks at shitty iL.

I'm 908 iL and any fight where I do less than 1m dps is a bad fight, and world mobs that dont get 1/2 shotted is bad rng

Returning level 103 holy paladin here, are timewalking dungeons supposed to be really hard to heal?

I always thought I was pretty decent but I'm finding this more difficult and stressful than heroic raiding was in MoP. I haven't done any normal legion dungeons, are they going to be just as hard if not worse?
