If SB is anything like HW (Spoiler: SB is going to be 100% identical to HW), the first 'new' tier of level 70 potions are going to have some retarded recipe that involves like 3-4 different time-limited gathering items, where the times you're allowed to gather them conflict with other, much more valuable gatherable items, and the difficulty of making them on top of that will make them completely out of reach for any player who isn't willing to sink 10m gil into every single raid lockout.

X-Potions from ARR were the go-to in Heavensward until Midas was well underway, and Drac/Max/Supramax didn't really become a standard until Creator. Supramax stands a pretty good chance of being the standard in Stormblood for at least the first tier of Omega.

HQ crafting materials only made on your job is always a good starting point. Crafting and gathering armor and gear sells well. Prepare to make the new raid food in 4.0 should be good money.

Crafting HQ leve hand-ins is great on smaller servers. Use crafting as a service website with a leveling guide to see what and how many to sell in a stack. A lot of people value time and will overpay on these.

I don't really mind if I don't get flashy or cool abilities, I just hope it doesn't get nerfed much, if at all. It doesn't take that long to get past those quests if you're rushing everything, but the story is good so i wouldn't really skip it if you're liking it.

The game's structure, compared to an unnamed MMO (hell, damn near any MMO), is fucking god awful. The content they started with is just so constrained. Eventually they managed to give what they have to work with some flare and built off that, so yeah the current endgame is "well-made"

I like the idea of Scholar and have it at 50 thanks to summoner but I haven't played it at all. I want to take a healer to 60. My FC tells me Scholar is really good but has the highest skill cap in the game and takes a lot of reading up and practice to make it worth while as a healer. Here's a quick run down guide for the "highest skill cap" healer in the game:
>Put Eos on Obey and place her near melee dps and tank
>Team gets minor aoe damage but needs healing? Succor and let Eos deal with it.
>Tank almost dead and Eos can't keep up? Lustrate
>Everyone is getting low? Fey Illumination + Rouse + Whispering Dawn, alternatively Succor + Emergency Tactics though I only do this if Eos is on cooldown.
>Everyone is dangerously low and needs healing quick? Indomitability.

You only really need to manually heal when your party members can't avoid big circles, or your tank is very ballsy.

There are too many ways for them to go about it, but yeah, as much as SE likes to take the approach of buffing underperforming classes over nerfing overperforming ones, there's really just no getting around the fact that Embrace completely destroys any hope of ever having any real semblance of healer balance, and Deployment Tactics divides every instance of raid-wide damage into A) Things that are trivialized by DT and B) Things that require either DT or every other source of mitigation possible to survive.

SCH is gonna get a couple skinned knees on their way into Stormblood. Luckily there's room to actually make it a lot more fun once the fairy is brought down a few pegs, even if it is an overall nerf.

It depends on what instance you get. if you go on a higher level job and get a HW leveling dungeon you'll get fantastic exp. If you get sastasha you'll still get a chunk for completion, but it won't be that much. I would say that you have a better chance of getting more out of it on a lower level job.

It's not a slight exaggeration when I've been offered MORE gil for an HQ glamour piece or been bitched at over NQing a glamour piece. I reap the benefit yet I see no point as the HQ symbol doesn't show up on the glamoured piece anyway. However there's plenty of weird shit people do in this game as is so I won't bother questioning it.

That said follow rath's rotation if you're still not 100% game on what to do. I mean, you did a 2* and HQ'd it so you're at least on the right track.

Each squad member levels up individually. You could have a level 1 squadmate in basic gear and the rest of your team capped out.

New recruits are, iirc, one level lower than whatever your team's average level is. Or possibly one lower than your highest. I'm not sure which of the two.
