So I just started playing my first fighting game, I just wanted to ask. How many combos should I get down before I start fighting other people?

I want to get some hands on training practicing movement and other fundamentals, but I don't know how long I should sit here learning confirms I probably won't be able to react to in game yet.

I think I'm going to give I2 a try (I only tried the demo of the first Injustice). Liked what I saw recently. The characters are cool, but I'm not too fond on some mechanics like the whole gear system (big SFxTK and Tekken Revolution flashbacks), but as long there is a Tournament Mode that nullifies the altered stats from gears it's okay.

Also Tekken 7. These are going to be my fighting games for this year.

You seem confused as the whole problem with non-rollback netplay is that you can't get consistent with your execution and "constant microstutter and permanent rollback" only occurs in SFV with specific relay-server matches where the connection would have failed otherwise
