Typically if there is a heavy medic combo and nobody does anything I switch to scout with ball and cleaver and meme the heavy out of this plane of existence because typically you will be able to always beat the overheal and healing by using a scattergun or in my case a shortstop after landing the crit cleaver

I don't know of any other good way to deal with a heavy pair when you don't have any help aside from being a really good sniper or spy

Whoever uses it has grown a bad habit of "jump then shoot ground lol ez", that's why Blackbox also known as Crutchbox. Pay attention to their pattern, every crutchbox Soldier just jumps and shoots ground even when there's only one (1 by number) target infront of them.
They can be loads more efficient by going for directs against one target simply, but they can't take the risk of losing health and spam jump+M1 like an autistic kid, now they don't have any brain left to lead the shot on someone's path.
Their Medic will be at danger and they'll be reloading, they can't retaliate against any fucking tiniest burst damage without the help of a Medic either. Not surprising when it turns out that they never gained any gamesense from playing thousands of hours.

Using the stock syringe gun is not really a good idea, ever, sadly.
It gives you no proper advantages in combat itself, meaning you should stick to healing, and at that point, crossbow is better.

Blutsauger has the advantage of a potential 30/s self-heal, making you extremely tanky if you have good aim. I used to run it all the time, and would often find myself top fragging in pubs.
People don't know what to do, since you get all your health back so stupidly fast. It also has an odd scaling against groups, as more enemies = more health.
Due to the medic's quick reload too, his only reason for downtime and not fighting would be low health, and with the blutsauger, that is never an issue. You will always be fighting, dealing damage, getting frags, shitting on the shitters. No running back for healthkits or hiding.
It's a lot of fun.
Downside however is that you lose up 1-4/s passive self-heal, which is actually quite a lot, as once your passive health regen maxes out after a while, you'll still need to pick up med packs occasionally.

Overdose is actually also fun, if you run around with quick-fix and Übersaw you should have chronic 100% Übercharge anyways.
At full charge, you're at 128% speed, for reference, scout is 133%. You'll zoom around the map like a scout, and since needles do have good DPS potential, you can actually cause quite some damage.
Although you'll also have to pussyfoot a bit, since you can't take on 4 people at once like with the blutsauger. You can probably kill 2 and damage one, then use your speed to get away safely.
The strong advantage though is that you don't sacrifice any passive effect like the blutsauger, so if you ever find yourself in a bad situation, just sprint back at super sanic speed to your nearest powerclass, pull out that fresh 100% Über, and then pop it if needed, or just heal him while the clears out all the people you just baited using the Dominator effect above your head.

A part of why medic Melee is so fun is because it is incredibly rewarding, since you can autofellatio yourself with using the charge on yourself, or you can run around killing everyone yourself, come back with full charge, and then pop it to finish off all the people / sentries you couldn't kill yourself.

This saw would force you to heal, then do risky plays with no Über to compensate for it.

I would probably use it if I was pocketing a friend and just shitting around.

Would I be able to keep my saw out and have the effect as well?
If so, yes I would use it sometimes in niche situations.
Wrecking shitters as a medic is all about movement, position, and gamesense to avoid being hit before they even know what's going on anyways, so the -50hp is not a too big deal in my book, even if it does make a lot of things a 1 hit kill.

It would be the ultimate self-überchain.

I could only really see myself using that syringe gun with stock Über, as the advantage of the Kelisaw (Quickswitchign between activate QF and Übersaw) would not be worth it with only 100hp.

I would always run it on rollout and in the beginning of Attack / Defense, thats for sure.

I would probably go back to my usual loadout after a while tho, not much can beat Quickfix + Übersaw. It already gives so much HP, I get to keep my 150 health, and I am also immune to movement impairing effects.

Tough question.
I'll go with Blutsauger I think. Still a good Scout will have an upperhand if you let him slip away to a healthkit or get splashed by a Mad Milk (stay at ramps and sloped surfaces).
I'd pair it with QF or Kritz for their faster uber rates. I'll get focus fired or incur burst damage anyway, loss of regen hardly means anything.
I used to pair it with Vita-saw and split the uber between at least two people when I deployed it.

Overdose is only useful for surfing rockets imo. When you have max uber you'd want to deploy it, not run around without a pocket.
You can always piggyback on a Scout if you really thrive movement speed. If anything I'd go for Vaccinator for it so I can pop it for myself if I ever get bombed and don't waste an entire uber
I use Amputator as melee if packing a Vaccinator, standard Uber-saw for any other and I don't even use O'dose at standard loadouts.

I had so much fun with it. 24/7 Insta-Respawn 2fort with regulars who actually mounted offensives into the bases, 3-PG and it's heavily modded 32 man servers (class tweaks up the wazoo, allcrits but with 2x damage instead of 3x, fuckin' old school TFC grenades), and then a niche community with a really interesting gamemode that was kinda like Saxton Hale, but each team had a hero that was picked at random and the game was placed normally barring that.

Now I guess it's just...Casual or Competitive. Only community servers out there I see now are all Trade or shit like Prophunt or Freak Fortress.

You can shoot the ground without jumping whenever you want you don't have to jump for every shot. In a general sense jump+M1 generally misses when foe is advancing closer from mid range.
When you jump, you have to compensate for target's path while falling down the ground which slightly paces your hits or cause you to dish out pitiful damage from splash.
Also attacking for splash damage hardly works if you don't have the general height advantage. At mid-range damage will rapidly falloff against strafing targets if you're any inaccurate.
You wouldn't want that if you're up to against a Scout or a Pyro who can reflect.
tl;dr: learn how projectile pathing works and go for direct hits, and smash the ground for juggling people around instead
