Demon hunter is the best out of that group currently if you're looking to dps.

Warlock is in a rocky spot, because they are having a lot of changes made in ptr, and nobody is quite sure what is going to happen once all is said and done. Aff is 100% being nerfed though. Demo is middle of the road, and destro is fucking bad.

Rogues are pretty meh all around.

Havoc is quite good currently. Competes frost and fury easily. Beats them on a lot of fights.

i've done it with the most ragtag teams around ( raid/collector's edition pets ie pets i like rather then good ones) so only 3 capped ones really. 4 or 5 capped ones is probably a good idea though. You can get the shoulder enchant that drops pet stuff from dal and buy stones that level them to 25 ez

basically for each spec there's a debuff bitch spec (if it was available and shit was shadow vuln a good debuff to bring), an actual I get to do damage spec, and maybe 1 where you take like a 1% dps loss on ST for better aoe
even then though you're still usually taking the same 50 of 60ish points for a spec and essentially only taking 3 different talents
like the reality is that it was really just an illusion of choice for bad players cause it was basically decided by looking at whoever the worst geared lock in your guild was and telling them to bring that debuff
in wrath they also tried to cut down on the debuff bitch talent sets too, so you ended up with like 1 or 2 cookie cutter shit for each spec and occasional cancer like 3.0 frostfire mage or mut/sub pvp hybrid, but that was really it for choice with talents in wrath and cata

I mean it kinda had to be though, blizz got super over their head in wrath beta, they tried to give resto shamans spirit link straight out of wc3 (3 people just share damage taken evenly) and there was a version of power word: barrier that was tuned to be an absorb your whole raid could get in, but it ended up being something you'd just use on 1-3 people to make them go damage immune for a few seconds
