Then I used the Master Seal on him to make sure I couldn't lose. I almost killed all of the enemies and visited all four houses.

Of the two I pulled, one was +Spd/-Atk and the second, useful one was +Def/-Spd

39 defense is very fucking nice, Armored Blow + Carrot Lance have amazing synergy to boot.
Cav buffs bring him to an offensive 51 def on player phase. I don't think much outside of Hector himself could hurt him. Very glad I got both bunnyboys with decent IVs.

Xander and Eldigan are relatively equal with Xander having a Distant Counter weapon while Eldigan procs Ignis faster. That, and slapping Vantage 3 on Xander means he's not afraid of any ranged unit anymore.

And he loses Darting/Deathblow as a result. Fury Eldigan and Fury Xander are now stronger. Eliwood is a great red cav, I'm training a +Atk unit right now! But Eldigan has the better stat spread for a melee unit and Xander will wreck shit with Vantage 3, as he "tanks" ranged units, even the almighty mages.

Red lose to blues, please don't claim "Reinhardt food lol" but the point is Eliwood can't hang without specific builds and never can stand on defense.
