Allow me to tell the story of the first discord of fhg.
Started up in closed alpha, went okay, maybe 30 or so people but the game wasn't out yet so it really wasn't that big of a deal.
Closed beta is where shit started to hit the fan. People fucking went apeshit joining and spamming like crazy trying to get closed beta keys. There was a channel completely made for requesting closed beta keys. Some of the mods even deleted other people's comments so they could have their request for a key seen. It flooded to like 300 people if not more. Even after the closed beta ENDED people were still joining asking for keys that didn't exist. It was the start of the shitshow.

Now we get to the open beta. The coup de grâce of shitshow discords. Due to it being open and anyone joining, there once again was an influx of people joining. At this point the owner had created different roles for each faction, and a channel for each faction to talk in. Knights being the most popular got a VERY large amount of players, whereas samurai and vikangz only got a few. Eventually the admins told people that they should switch to other factions, people didn't want to, so they straight up started BANNING knight players because they were knights to try to even the roles out. Because of this, people made a second discord for use, but the person from the first named "Kush" spammed thread with shit like "NO MY DISCORD MINE MINE MINE MINE IS THE REAL ONE YOURS IS FAKE MINE MINE MINE" and even tried making completely separate threads with their discord link in the OP. If it wasn't in the OP, they would spam general with it in every comment they made. They even joined the second one and spammed the link to it in theirs.
After getting called out saying their discord is a shitshow they started saying shit liek "Mine has more users in it! Join the real one! It has 200+ members in it so you know it's better!" I actually dug into this more and contacted a very large portion of the people...

... in the first discord only to find that MANY of the ones that did respond said they were only in it from the closed beta to get a key and they were simply too lazy to leave it. Many more of them never responded as they had the orange icon which means they were away (to never respond again), and the VAST MAJORITY of the 200+ people on there were offline never to come online again. It was always the same roughly 10 people commenting. Of the comments, it was mainly in a channel created for furry porn posting. I'm not joking, that was the majority.

Since then I have seen roughly 13 discords being made for FHG only for them to fail miserably because no one wants to join them. People seem to not understand that 4chan exists for anonymity, If we actually wanted to know people's names we would be on pleddit or neogaf or some other shit. If you think people want to join a discord and create a circlejerk to spew their elitism in thread constantly then you should just stop coming to 4chan.

People here do not want a discord, and hopefully there will never be one again.
