I think Coastline is solid, but I agree that it is a little boring. I'd like to see maps with more character, as well as more unique layouts. I actually really like Plane. The secret is to *always* take Jackal and a shield (Monty) and go in through the ceiling (pic related). You can track roamers and blow through the ceiling, killing everyone underneath.

On defense, you need the Castle + Mute combo, with Smoke to repel last minute advances.

Plane's fine once you get into it, it's just that the exterior sucks donkey balls and you're forced through chokes for every major entrance. Still doesn't feel as bad in that regard as Bartlett though, for some reason.

Mostly around Packaging, Meth lab, and Aunt's house. I feel like Football room, Weed room, and Armory don't really suffer as much from having too much destruction, and I do think preserving choice when placing reinforcements is one of the things that could act as a unique strong suit with Favelas strategically, as long as not every area feels like Aunt's room, where you just feel like you don't have enough reinforcements no matter what you do.

I like Coastline, even if it's a bit straightfoward at times (no that this is necessarily a bad thing) and I'm a little sad that it wasn't seen in proleague.
It certainly has a lot of "fluff" and this trend may continue if the Theme Park leak is real. I'm not sure if it's good thing or not.

From all I've seen, diamonds vs diamonds won't have this happen very often. It's still a little too easy to punish since the amount of entrances you can peek from are more limited than even some other maps, but the lack of cover lets the strat shit on lower ranks and people that can't pre-aim the nearest entrance.
I agree with you, the exterior part of the map is cancer due to lack of cover, but diamonds don't peek against other diamonds, unless they're stomping already and get cocky.

That's arguably the weakest part of the map. The best strat is to hold at one of the entrances until you can push through multiple sides of the plane at once, which isn't hard, but it eats up a lot of time. With the 3 minute ranked timer I've consistently ran out of time on Plane the most of all maps because of that.
Playing it in casual, or against a defensive team that's not as good at holding the chokes (or with a Montagne), and it's a lot more fun once you actually get inside of the plane itself.

Smoke has no skin exposed and a special respirator that prevents him from breathing in his own bullshit. In the A5 intro all the terrorists using the same gas, as well as the deployed operators, have complete skin coverage and internal respiration to avoid inhalation. SAS OPs in real life have exposed skin to a slight degree, despite Sledge being the only exposed skin SAS.
