Everyone that joins the PT was looking for a place to belong at one point. They couldn't find acceptance from society and so they banded together around a similar goal. For the first four their character arcs revolve almost completely around the idea. Cat with existential crisis even goes ballistic because he doesn't belong anywhere else. Goro wanted acceptance as well, and that's where their common ground lies.

Regardless her anger at herself is the impetus of the formation of her Palace, so her sin is Wrath. The game corroborates this. Even if you did give Sloth to Futaba, Wrath doesn't fit Yaldabaoth/Mementos/humanity at all. The desire to be controlled that Yaldabaoth talks about at the end of the game fits Sloth way more.
