Alpha Team immediately got to work, dishing out raid carries and sharing the knowledge and strategic advice with the rest of /dg/, they used their new found fame to help which is why they became such thread favourites. The transformation of literal who's to thread God's was something no one could have foreseen, and is one that caused the entirety of the /dg/ elites to quit the game as they faded into irrelevancy. StuartRae92 became Alpha Teams first signing, and he would see himself in action for the release of Prison of Elders in a group with Jack720 and alongside Dane342 who was embarking on his final mission for Alpha Team. The other half, DonThyDone, Enji-n3rd and Zippy100012 also went into Prison of Elders and were once again, the first on /dg/ to beat it. With the loss of Dane342 Alpha Team needed reinforcements, they drafted in TenOreos117, SwoleMeatMonster and SmokyProgg__ which dented the hopes of the /dg/ elites second coming for Kings Fall.

Kings Fall had come after a manic week of grinding from Alpha Team, a team consisting of the original 3 that had become so pivotal for the team had Jack720, StuartRae92 and SmokyProgg__ go in and once again, emerge victorious on /dg/ first. This sent the /dg/ elites into a shitposting frenzy, jealousy and blind rage consumed them, but that didn't matter to our heroes, the very next day, with no one on /dg/ having slayed oryx yet, Alpha Team took in Corbinek, team captain of Based BTFO and BuyBrokenCatProf, team captain of /dg/ elites into kings fall as substitutions for Jack720 and SmokyProgg__, and became the second team on /dg/ to have beaten Kings Fall. How could anyone match such an act of dominance? This raid proved to have been a trial run for the two new additions to Alpha Team as this was the very same team that went into Kings Fall Hard Mode. For the entirety of the raid they were well ahead of the pack, but alas, the curse of team six hours had been brought by BuyBrokenCatProf and they began to wipe on Oryx. After a change of tactics Alpha Team finally beat Oryx, once again the first team to have done it on /dg/, but they weren't after /dg/ first anymore. After tasting what it was like to be the first team in the world to reach the boss they wanted more, they didn't want thread domination, they wanted world domination, and they would stop at nothing to do it.

Challenge Modes came along, who did them all first? Alpha Team, which also saw the recruitment of PandoxR8, some say he was recruited for shitposting purposes, but it wouldn't have mattered, the third year of destiny came around and saw the final expansion, Rise of Iron. Another gruelling week of grinding followed by a brand new raid, they now had thread competition from none other than MustangCobraGT95 who led Bravo Team.

TWAB when?

Ironicc, Noobish-Hero, ThunderTouch, BiasedBob and another literal who. Many thought this was going to be a repeat of Crotas End Hard Mode, where literal who's topple the big boys and take over, finally it was Bravo Teams time to shine, or was it? Alpha Team made no mistakes about the raid, World 20th and miles ahead of anyone else on /dg/, no amount of money paid by MustangCobraGT95 could get Bravo Team ahead of Alpha Team. But as ruthless as they were, they weren't done yet. With Corbinek and SmokyProgg__ no longer available for Hard Mode, they went and eliminated the competition by signing Noobish-Hero and ThunderTouch, and what a masterstroke it was as Alpha Team pushed themselves to worlds 13th for the Hard Mode Release. Challenge Modes came around, Worlds 1st and Worlds 12th were achieved. Their work here was done, Destiny 2 awaits.

But they were not done, new raids were released, and with Worlds 5th and Worlds 2nd achieved no one could doubt Alpha Team were no longer only the best on /dg/, they were one of the best in the world.

With Destiny 2 approaching and new challenges on the horizon, how will our favourite team fare with new competition from the newly announced PC platform? Will it be a repeat of Destiny 1 or will this be the end of our beloved Alpha Team? Nobody knows what may lie ahead but all we know is, whatever happens will be part of their Destiny.
