I think the map design is decent. There are some stinkers like most dungeon maps, the one where you first fight Berkut, etc. But there are some really good ones as well like Zofia Castle, The Flood Gate, Grieth's Fort, etc. Terrain is more important as well which makes it interesting.

The fastest healers are Maria and Clarine, so a +Spd one of those that wants to fuck around with debuff staves like Panic or Fear might be a good choice. Same with actually trying to use Daggers for debuff cocktails, Felicia and Gaius are pretty fast.

I loved it so much I'm playing through it for the third time.
the archers range being increased once again feels incredibly comfortable and oddly balanced because they're blind as fuck.
It's unbalanced, but that's part of the game. You eventually get Dread Fighters, but throughout the early stages of the game, the enemy had Teleporting Witches fucking up your 0 Res units.
Some maps will piss people off, I'm not one of those people, the tactics are different but welcomed in my opinion also.
Soundtrack is godlike. 2D art is godlike. 3D Art has great armour, but shit faces like all of the 3DS games.Plot is simple, solid and doesn't overstay it's welcome, even with added characters and exposition.

It's a fun game but not for the reasons people play Fire Emblem games for, hence why it was originally a Gaiden. I liked the exploration aspects but the game gets annoyingly skirmish heavy at times, especially if you suck at maneuvering past enemies in dungeons. A lot of later dungeon maps have this retarded habit of putting a free 20% evasion on almost all the tiles to make hitting with anything but mages and Dread Fighters a chore if your characters aren't getting hit bonuses from supports.

My highest scoring team with Navarre can't handle these threats unless I have the map on my side and it usually isn't. I did learn Blue Tomebreaker today so only Nino should be my main threat.

I'm not really sure what to make of Echoes' sales. Looks like it didn't do fantastic, but not super good either. It's a huge step down from Awakening and Fates though.

This map is considered by many to be one of, if not the hardest map in the entire game; the enemies are numerous and tough (including Wyvern Riders which dwarf most of our units statistically, the only ones that can really tangle with them 1 on 1 are Marcus and Rutger)

There are also a lot of items to acquire which are all very valuable, and an arena to visit for more gold and XP

Prep; Marcus grabs the Hammer, and I shuffle a few items around to give everyone what they'll need

Treck is kind of bad, his only real standout trait is having a horse

Zealot however is extremely valuable since as a Paladin he's essentially a slightly better version of Marcus, and with how amazing Marcus has been up until now I don't think I need to say Zealot will be a pretty big help

These guys can be a pain for slower players however, since if you don't Rescue-drop Roy off to this direction as you begin there's a very realistic chance that one of them (more than likely Treck since as said before his stats suck) will run off and get themselves killed, but if you do this there's no danger of that

Zealot will grab a few items from Roy before taking point here while Treck Rescues Roy back

Another annoying part of this map is that a large number of enemies have 1-2 range, meaning they avoid counters a lot of the time, and while yes you could maybe counter back with our own 1-2 range it's not strong enough to ORKO and the Priests at the top will heal them if they drop below half HP anyways, so it's better just to take it on EP and then kill when it's our turn

Pretty much anything that seems useful, a Distant Counter weapon and Heavy Blade's quick charge effect make for some interesting combinations of options you can use. If you don't care for slow specials like Aether you can just drop HB for Fury and do other stupid shit with Vantage, Quick Riposte, Breakers, or Brash Assault.

So the general strategy for this map can kind of be seen here; Rutger and Marcus, our two strongest units alongside Zealot at this point, take the left side of the Arena and clear out the enemies there, while all of our weaker units led by Zealot take on the right side and combine their lesser might to fell the enemies as they come

Also a green Cav joined the fray; that's Noah, another recruitable unit, and like Treck his stats aren't anything special (he's a little better than Treck but not by much) so don't expect to see much of him

So, everyone, be honest. How much cash did you spend on this unbalanced turd of a game?

Sophia has an alright offensive skill, you can always throw their offensive skills on someone (anyone) who lacks one just to have some skill filler until you get something better. And Fortify Res is useful for both non-arena missions and being a filled hone skill.

Beruka is really bad though yeah, but I guess you could still give out Night Sky and Killer Axe, as lackluster as these skills are.
