It's an understandable change. Editing all that tiny dialog on each card for every episode would be an enormous chore. And in the early seasons, a ton of the cards shown weren't even released in the TCG yet, so there weren't even any translations to go with.

A lot of the cards in this game were designed for a 40-60 format, so a lot of strategies are pron to failure in a 20 cards deck.

This format lets you make insanely focused decks, and a lot of decks that should by all rights be terrible can win games just because decks are so consistent in a 20-card, 3 copies format. Also, for the record, the problem is that any deck has a possible counter and RNG still plays a big part of the game. You can have 3 copies of a card and they could all very realistically still end at the bottom of your deck, so if you want to prevent that you have to find a way to force them out, which implies adding more cards, and once you do have them out you maybe also need a way to protect them and so on and so on.

For the record, when I say "meme deck" I mean that it's woefully incomplete. I basically just made goodstuff.dek and swapped in some coin tosses and ways to lower my lifepoints. Ideally I'd have another twin barrel and a way to get Barrel Dragon out more consistently. A redo coin toss or whatever that card is would be nice too. For maximum Joey power I think I'm gonna put in a few Graceful/Skull Dice and Dice Reroll.

I assume you don't own a fusion gate so I'd save some gems in case it ever comes back. As for what you can do now, swap to Kaiba for Peak Performance (or Mai if you somehow have HHG) to boost your birbs, get another Red Eyes, and maybe Fusion Sage or Fusion Substitute. Pick up Thunder Dragons and their Twin-Headed counterpart when you get the gems, and swap out 3 of your equips for better spell/traps (Mirror Wall and other staples are good ideas of course, but card draw could be good too, such as Jar of Greed). Basically you want to be able to thin your deck quickly enough to get a fusion out in 1 or 2 turns almost every game, then protect it. Also Blue Dragon Summoner might be a good idea, like the other anon suggested.

Depends on who you want to farm. For most non-event LDs it works just fine if you have one of the necessary skills and it's relitively cheap too considering you just need 1 or 2 copies of cerberus (would the plural be cerberuses? cerberusi? cerbureese?) plus mostly random spells.

He is literally one of the hardest to farm. You should look up on youtube. There are some decent one but they are quite costly deck to make and they all use switcheroo keith so if you do have the cards you should probably farm him before the skill update. I'm glad I'm a fucking autist that farm npcs for their keys and gushed them all during double drop before those shitter fixed cat's ear. That said I barely even use more than one econ in most of my deks.

Really? I got HHG without trying from Bakura and Pegasus gave me Duel, Standby without too much effort this time around. Not even an apk retard.

The Duel Rooms are pretty nice for quick casual dueling. Most people I've dueled so far have been decent enough and they don't take forever to make a move like in Casual Duel. Expected a lobby system but somebody's always shouting out their room in the global chat anyway.

Way too reliant on Toon World, and most of the tribute Toons aren't really worth it outside Toon Summoned Skull and Toon DMG. Once Toon World's zapped you're left with nothing, and assuming you take a direct attack you won't have enough LP to activate your other Toon World if you even have it. Toon Defense is crap for the same reason, you might be left with not even enough LP to attack.

It's best to build a deck of half Toons + their support and another half to carry the deck when Toon World isn't active. If you're worried about Toons being destroyed along with Toon World, bring Gravelstorm and Interdimensional Matter Transporter since Toon monsters only go when Toon World is destroyed, not when it's sent back to the hand or when Toon World is already gone when the monster returns to the field. Both have utility against Relinquished too.
