You're not even supposed to start Critical without importing your Dream Eaters from the last playthrough, it's something they intended for you to do. Also, affinity isn't as important as their rank since they're nearly useless for actual attacking even at max affinity. You want star rank Dream Eaters (Which aren't even that hard to obtain, there's an entire list on the 3DS GameFAQs forum for how to get them in the least amount of items) since they get massive boosts to their stats at star rank.

40-50 is the general range for 13, for Riku you can still get by at around late 30s as well. If you're relying on sleights only you should ease up on that, give yourself some boss cards like Maleficent, Jafar, and Laxaeus, put in one or two Megaelixirs, use like five or six 0 cards, have a sleight fodder magic or summon solely to give yourself three free sleights to break enemy combos when you don't want to use a 0, Curaga, and give yourself three or four sets of Keyblade combos set up in the proper order for their best damage.

Yes and there's a very simple reason for it:
Sebastian is unusable when you get to below 6 SP because SP1 can't activate unless you have the adequate SP to use the original cost of the medal. I've run into a problem countless times when using high cost medals like Maleficent B/Phil & Herc where I wouldn't have enough SP to use him again even though he technically should only cost 1 SP.

I haven't done the run myself so the things I'm finding are using Water Barrels, or getting Mega Flare and then using it to kill tons of enemies. You can also do the affinity grinding method as that nets you 20 or 30 LP every time you run through it and the enemies are the small, low health things, though I don't know how bad it'll be at level 1 and on Critical.

I dont get a few things about the chi world.
Is daybreak town a summercamp for keyblade wielders or do normal people live there?
Do outsiders at that time knew about keyblade wielders?
Did the foretellers grabbed kids off the street and gave them keyblades, did they collect keyblade wielders from other worlds or did an event cause thousands of keyblades find users and the children were brought to daybreak town?
What is lux?
Did the keyblade war tore aparts the worlds, were the worlds already apart when MoM was still there or will the dandelions break the world?
Was the xblade story just lies for Xehanort was unable to find the truth?

So what is next for this game? Dual attribute medals?

Many of these questions are still unanswered, that's the most frustrating part of this whole ordeal. But I'll try to break it down without going to much into the current theories:

The setting of chi is still not completely revealed. It's supposed to take place at least 100 years before the events of KH, so it's probably the real deal and through Ephemer we know that the world is still one big place like it's supposed to be. We also know that Unchained takes part in a different dimension/in the Sleeping Worlds and that the Disney worlds are "holograms" created by the book of prophecies, but that's it.

Many people in this game mention an "outside world" and the state of being "Unchained", while it's not clear how this is connected.

In my opinion Daybreak Town is a retreat created for the survivors of the Keyblade War, the outside world is where the five Unions battle in the end to create the Kingdom Heart we see in BBS.

The x-blade is never mentioned once but because the MoM had the oldest known Keyblade, he probably saw it or even possessed it at one point.

The real war for the true Kingdom Hearts probably already happened, hence the poor state of the outside world, and the x-blade was already lost.

Anyway, we also don't know the original purpose of the Keyblade wielders or why they get Keyblades in the first place, because the game gets circular here.
The Foretellers say they need to hoard light from all over the world to combat the rising darkness, while the darkness is clearly caused by collecting so much light and sins of the Heartless in the first place. The MoM is probably to blame here too.
Daybreak Town may have been an experiment to get things started over again but was abandoned by the MoM after he learned of the future.
Why they are all children? Again, no explanation either but I think they are literally new-born people, that's why we don't see old folks around. I know that doesn't make much sense biological but it could make sense in KH
