Daily Reminder that before Dark Souls 3 was even announced officially, there was a paired greatsword + straightsword weapon.

No such straightsword in the game exists that has this pommel and handle. No greatsword or ultra greatsword for that matter shares this ones design either.

This is likely the original design for "Hawkwood, the Deserter". Possibly was an ex Londor Knight, instead of a Artoriasfanclub....dragonfucker...guy

The Fallen Knight set and this weapon were seemingly some of the first content we saw for this game, but the weapon does not exist at all.

I tried to replicate that stuff earlier and Hawkwood's Shield does go somewhat decently with the Fallen set. No matching sword though. The Claymore and its sheath are too pristine, and the Executioner's Sword isn't the right type.

I grinded 30 concords on one of my characters last summer with 1 crystal sage rapier, a symbol of avarice, and a normal gold covetous serpent ring and an occasional golden coin here and then.

You don't need 1000 cracked red eye orbs for maxing brotherhood of blood in DS2. All you need is 1 token of spite and 500 net (win-loss) duel wins. You don't even need to invade.

A token of spite is found in the gutter, or you can get one by invading (cracked red eye orb or red sign soapstone).

Get Token of Spite -> Duel - > Win ->[ Get Cracked Orb -> Invade a Player -> Duel -> Win ] repeat.

The only time you have to 'buy' anything is when you run out of tokens of spite or if you want to invade without dueling. As long as you keep 1 token of spite in your inventory, you can farm an infinite number of cracked orbs in the duel arena.

Plus duel arena is SL based, not SM based, so as long as you don't level up too high you'll never run out of arena opponents.

Same here. Wore the fallen knight set with the irythill sword for a long time. After abyss watchers i wore the full set except helm which i wore the pyromancy headband to show my face/hair. After the brothers i wore mostly lorian set. I change my armor around a lot now, trying to come up with decent looks. Right now i am wearing full black night with lorian's crown. Looks alright.

If you are going for the dlcs you are in for a fucking ride. Also learning how to parry makes certain bosses signficantly easier to deal with so keep that in mind.

I struggled with the gravetender a lot and it wasnt fun like nameless king or friede are/ can be. What makes the fight a lot easier is killing the little wolves and running with the gravetender to the hintermost part of the map by the pillars. Fighting him there gives you a little more time to kill him since the wolf spawns at the beginning of the area. The pillars also help with kiting the bullshit charge.

Switch could actually run DaS3 if they were good developers. The game has alot of poor waste of geometry and asset detail, put that shit in 720p and redo some areas (like the bricks individually modelled on the ground in alot of places for no reason other than Fromsoft were lazy to optimise properly and use things like parallax and better materials to achieve a similar, cheaper performance effect)

DaS1 and 2 would certainly run on Switch though, no question.

I think it's more of a problem with the Switch's limitations. It's not designed for 60 fps 1080p. Even Breath of The Wild, which is basically the game the console was built to run, is only 30fps 720p and still drops to ~20fps during normal gameplay.

I've been dabbling with a new luck build since the patch nerfed the old bland one.

45 luck, enough int for some basic sorceries and just the minimum str/dex to wield some basic blood or poison-infused weapons. Homing Soulmass is pretty much the only sorcery worth using because the rest won't do enough damage, but it's spammable enough to come in handy. You can also frozen weapon anri's for bosses like DSA that are immune to every other status effect
