They can send it via the mail with the Cash-on-Demand (CoD) system. Basically you receive a letter and have to pay the money to take the attachment from it, and then they receive the paid amount in the mail.

There's a postage fee on that though so some may prefer to trade in person.

In person you both put the items you get a little menu where you select the items/gold you want to trade then confirm. If either person changes the gold/items you both have to confirm again, so they can't scam you by removing items at the last minute or something.

Don't use any other method of trading items. For things like services (vampire/werewolf bite) you'll just have to trust them.

So help me decide my sns+bow stamblade 'tank' skills.

So far on bow bar ive got poison injection, relentless focus, endless hail, caltrops, and sap essence (using more for dual brutality+ and sorcery than as a self healing method, ive only got 11k magicka- moving vigor to backbar and putting sap on main bar for the heal% increase might be smart though)

On sns ive got pierce armor, and resolving vigor.

Now there are some things i want here but i dont know what the best option is. Im after both minor maim and major resolve and ward.

Option one is to use dark shades, which will take care of both of those things, but ward/resolev does not last as long as the shades do and it might mess up my timing.
The other option is to use deep slash as my minor maim (i picked this over the single target ultimate regen, im not sure if thats smart but i do like the aoe application, im runing soul harvest as main bar for the ultimate, but maybe that wouldnt be enough), and to take refreshing shadows or maybe even surprise attack as my shadow skill to activate the passive. I like surprise attack and having a nice spammable single target skill is appealing, though refreshing path looks nice too.

Im on the edge about using siphoning strikes at all, to prepare myself for morrowind, also ive been doing fine just with heavy attacks and my natural regen so far, but it might be nice. Im currently using swallow soul for the heal increase and also a small passive hot.

But ive just not got it all nailed down. Backbar ult is fighters guild for now but thats because i dont have mages guild. Ive also got warhorn leveled

Why? Siphoning will give you health and stam back. It may even be easier to survive as a stam tank tnx to it since you have basically no other way to get health back if I'm not wrong.

Its cheaper to repair them but not by much.
I treat non coldfire as expendible and usualy just leave them when their health gets low, i repair coldfire though.

Its a bad idea to repair them in combat, so if its something like coldfire i put it away if it gets low and start using a regular fire, and then take out and repair the coldfire somewhere safe.

bought this game a while ago but didn't play it so actually started yesterday and i have some questions.

how common is people playing thieves? i just got to the first argonian village and there was 1 or 2 people just going around in circles in the trades hut looting the safe boxes, is it profitable or are they probably new and think its great use of time?

it seems like all resource nodes and chests are not bound to players so if i see a chest with some enemies near it should i wait so no one is around so when im killing the enemies no one goes up and loots the chest?

Being a thief is actually easy and decent sums of gold since there's no downside or ability to farm mobs etc needed. Also something you can do entirely on your own vs trying to play the market or whatnot.

"MMO Honor" usually means people will avoid swiping your node/chest if you are fighting something near it but don't rely on that and people steal shit all the time, you just get used to it.

Chests and heavy bags are not instanced, all other containers every player gets their own instanced loot.

Stealing from safeboxes is reasonably profitable for a new player, thats how i saved up enough for my horse when i first started, but later on its really not that profitable, though areas with lots of containers are often farmed for the rare blueprints and recipes they can drop, in which case any stolen goods is extra money if the area you are farming is owned.

EP and AD on azura can go fuck themselves with a hot curling iron. When I try to do something on my tank that is on DC, 70% of the time there are AD ank squads of 3 - 5 players sitting right outside the DC main bases, waiting for people to come out. Typically they have one person riding around on a storm atronauch mount, if you attack them, 2 or 3 people will ambush from stealth. If you try to leave them alone, 2 - 3 people will ambush you from stealth.

I've also had EP faggots camping skyshards. Like seriously, you want to sit there and wait until someone just interacts with it, then kill them.

Ok, two ways to get the game, one tamriel and gold.

Once you buy the game, you are not required to pay a sub fee, but there are perks for it.

With one tamriel, you get all of the base game content forever, you can never lose it. But, you will have to buy the DLC (thieves guild, dark brotherhood, Orsinium, Imperial City, Shadow of the Hist) to be able to play them.

With the gold edition, you get the base game plus 4 DLC (thieves guild, darl brotherhood, imperial city, orsinium) but not shadows of the hist. Plus you get a free mount, so something.

If you sub, here is what you get. You get +10% xp, +10% crafting xp (inspiration), reduced research timers (crafting, you need to learn traits on armor and weapons to be able to craft with those traits), craft bag (all crafting items go into it, bottomless, in my opinion the sub is worth it for this alone), 1,500 crowns a month (used in the cash shop, the same amount you'd get if you just bought crowns for the monthly sub fee), and access to all DLC. In the ong run, it is cheaper to buy gold then buy the hist dlc, but what many people do is buy the base game, sub, then use the free crowns each month to buy the DLC packs. That way, if they want to take a break fro subbing for a while, they will still have access to the DLC areas since they bought them.

Race and class combo can help, but it isn't end all be all except for the most autistic of min maxers. What is more important is looking at skills and passives. For example, if you like casting your class spells, you may eventually use dual wield swords, since the last passive, once fully maxed, increases damage by 5% when dual wielding swords, and you can use class skills no matter what weapon you have equipped. Or, skills like magelight from the mages guild skill line, while it is mostly a pvp build (un-stealths enemies around you) just having it on your bar gives you spell crit, and there are mages guild passives that will increase your maximum magicka for having mages guild abilities on your skill bars.

Best thing to do would be to just jump in and play, see what skills and weapons you enjoy using, then figure out a build from there.

Also, do not powerlevel your first character. There will be plenty of time for that later.

Start training your horse as soon as you can, even if you don't have one yet. It takes 2 months to full train one skill line out of three, so get on that.

Same with researching crafting traits, if you make a crafting alt, keep them researching. With the crafting trait timers passives maxed out, your 8th trait will take 3 weeks to finish, and your 9th trait is 28 days. You have to research each slot of armor for each weight type (light, medium, and heavy), each weapon type, and each staff type (fire, ice, lightning, restoration) separately, so it takes a long time to fully research. Best to have that going in the background while you are playing.

Tried VMA on my magdk, keep getting stomped, part of it is sustain and not knowing the spawns yet. Literally less than Orsinium they just stapled on a class+bgs and called it a "chapter" It's not worth the price tag and definitely not worth the whole can't buy for crowns/eso+ scam they pulled.

The main quest is less than 5 hours at best and is less compelling than the orc one, probably the best work done is by the art department they have really put the effort in, the environment looks great but the content is lacking. Honestly it feel like we will never get a DLC like that one again like Orsinium was chapter 0 and if they thought of the idea back then they would of called it one.

I've been playing ESO for just over a year and I'm starting to become pretty disappointed with ZOS's direction like I've talked myself down from the "balance" changes and that maybe they won''t be so bad but I've got to say unless I really find me a good PvE progression guild and/or a high level tight-knit PvP guild I don't see myself being around here by the end of the year.

I have PTS but I don't really want to play through the entirety of Morrowind and spoil it for myself. I've only done two questlines, the MQ which was disappointing to me, and the Telvanni one which was 10/10. I've ignored all other quests.

The environments in Morrowind are all amazing, literally everywhere you walk has a screenshot worthy background.

I'm hesitant to say it has less content than Orsinium. I think it has about the same, but I can't really say because I ignored all other quest markers.

I'm certain it has 2 public dungeons, a bunch of delves, and a bunch of world bosses with world boss dailies like Orsinium does. The delves felt smaller than Orsinium's but maybe those delves I went into weren't real delves but pseudo-delves related to the MQ/Telvanni quest (because they had no quests attached to them).

Yea but that's due to the new knight's vanished or w/e it's called that do 10% of max health as Oblivion damage. Meaning that you can spam heavy attacks against a shield-stacking sorc and you'll still be able to tear him down tnx to damage going right trough it, and 70k templars will have to deal with every heavy attack doing 7k extra at em.

The set is good because it works really well against cancerous strategies. I believe putting oblivion enchantment instead of weapon damage on your weapons will be the next big thing.

Stam DK's are similar to magicka DK's in that you use your DoT's then attack until you reapply DoT's. Some of your DoTs can be morhped to poison damage, which can be buffed with champ points. When using a heavy attack 2 hand build, stamdk's have excellent burst for pvp, and come next patch, if specced right with some sets, twohander might come very close to dual wield for pve DPS.

The new man at arms perk will inprove direct damage, including 2 hander. Combined with some of the new sets and old sets, like seargents or even embershield, you can get over 25k - 30k crits on heavy attacks, not including skills. Heavy attack builds for two hander stam builds may become a thing in pve, after some testing. And even alcast is saying that if the skill cost changes go into effect, it might not be worth it to run VMA weapons on dual wield builds, since skills like flurry can't be spammed anymore and will be a net DPS loss over heavy attack weaving with other weapons.

Well, for some zone drops for jewelry, eastharch has akaviri dragonguard (5 piece reduces the cost of ultimates by 15%, what I wear on my DK tank with ebon armor), bangkorai has seventh legion (5 piece has a 10% chance to heal you and increase weapon damage on hit), and out of blackheart haven is knights errant (heal yourself when you use a one hand a shield ability).

Overall, I'd stick with crafted, since you can replace that easier than trying to get drops every few CP, since you should get ~4 million enlightenment (rested xp) when you hit level 50, and that will take you to CP 90 or so.

If you don't get the 4 million enlightenment, then make sure you file a ticket with customer support, as its a common issue, and they can get it to you. Might take a few days of sending emails through the automated system until you get a real person, but you'll get it eventually.

On the magicka side I'd also considered getting the jewelry for the lich for the 3 part bonus off that, then another set bonus from weapons and spare armor pieces
That way the only drops I need are jewelry anyway

In the crown store, button towards the bottom lets you preview it. There is a fun bug for previewing pets that turns you into the pet, and you can roam around.
