I've completed base game to many times to repeat, so I've started using CE to create new builds and just pvp for fun now. Not cheating other than getting to my destination faster.

Assuming you mean PvP, Washing Pole doesn't stunlock at all. The katana R1s are bad anyway and they're best used as spears with more variation in moveset. The pokes are very safe in PvP, which makes the WP superior.

First time ever playing a Souls game, Dark Souls 1 Blind. Usually 5-10 attempts per boss, some less, even a few one shots.

Took me like 30 tries to get Seath. Every run back was kind of a zen death march. I had to beat this stupid fucking dragon head to head. I learned much later that you can predict his curse breath and that he does the big aoes more if you go too yolo. I am dumb as all hell.

Hex characters benefit quite greatly. Also there's a neat STR/INT weapon that, while gimmicky, is quite fun.

There is a fucking absurd great hammer that makes Smough's look like a toothpick.

Check out the Ringed Knight weapons too. They can fit a lot of builds.

Splitleaf is a weird STR oriented halberd found very early in the DLC.

If you plan on using Black Flame any worthwhile amount replace young dragon with witch's ring. Deep Protection is nerfed in PvP. Nothing really comes to mind I'm afraid. I feel like there's a halberd that is STR/FAITH in Undead Settlement. Red Hilted Halberd perhaps? You may wish to aim for buffing STR weapons with Lightning Weapon instead of blessed infusions.

The earliest weapon that is good for lightning infusion is certainly the Dragonslayer Axe thing that Creighton uses. It's a fucking beast with lightning infusion and gets like a B rating in faith. Still, that's at least halfway through Irithyll. Early game is not kind for faith.

It's a pretty great greatsword on its own for a STR/FAI build. It still has bad Bastard Sword R2s and the WA is still too slow but it has the second longest-range of the greatsword class tied with Gael's and Wolf Knight and good AR at 40/40 STR/FAI. It excels at being an R1 trading machine which is what Greatswords are best at.
