Should I worry about saving up 1.2bil extra at all times for plex or should I try and buy more injectors first?

How good is manufacturing for profits, I've been stockpiling a variety of null ores (our main system has some of each type) so i can reprocess once i get my skills up to 86% and potentially use the minerals for even more profit. What sells well?

Atm ive just been manufacturing drones, mining barges a few vexors and exhumers, (and the apropriate modules for them) for my alliance buddies but that is decent profit too since I mark up the prices by 20-30% compared to jita but they still buy them because its easier than making 50 jump trips to hubs and JFs arent numerous in our alliance.

I dont obviously flip that many units of those so I've been thinking about working on something that can be mass produced

A plex (~1.25b) will give you more skillpoints than two injectors (~1.35b), assuming you have a good attribute lay-out for your current skill plan. If you want to get the best value for your isk you should always get the plex, although obviously you won't get the instant gratification.

In highsec on the other hand, most of the value of missions is in the LP, not in ratting bounties.

Regardless of whether it does or doesn't, highsec SHOULDN'T allow you to make more isk/hr than lowsec/nullsec if you're careful. Otherwise the risk-reward calculation gets thrown out of whack, and lowsec/nullsec dries up and starts to die. Which is what we're starting to see.

Which is why everything below 0.8 should become lowsec, everything below 0.3 should become sovnull, and level 4 missions/incursions should be moved out of what remains of highsec once it's been cut down in size.

The only real thing that is only mildly unaffected by the neut bombs are guardians because their cap transfers cycle faster than the neuts and neut bombs can neut you. Even then the cap is 1 up 1 down so if some logi gets jammed or neuted to death you just compensate and adjust cap chain.

I've poured a lot of autism into this and believe me, mineral values per m^3 don't raise very much from Veldspar to Spodumain. You're best off mining Scordite or Jaspet if you're feeling risky. Get a Venture immediately. You should be able to get one from doing the mining career path. You get space for 2 mining lasers, both of which I believe have a 100% increase in yield because the Venture is a mining ship, and the ship has a dedicated 5000 m^3 ore storage bin so you can stay out in the field longer. After that you should think about getting the skills to fit Miner II's on your Venture, and research drone skills so you can either get 2 combat drones to defend you from rats or 2 mining drones to etch out a little extra profit.

Then start looking into more exciting careers to get into and fund it from whatever you make learning the ropes mining.
