Protip aiming isn't anything hard in itself. Especially with a semi-automatic weapon, it is really easy to hit consistently which combined with Lex's high frontload damage and his bullshit +30% damage legendary make him a champion with an alarmingly low TTK that can be played very efficiently by anyone who understands basic aiming concepts and runs their game at a decent FPS.

Your error is assuming that aim is something hard to do, it's not, especially in a slow ass game with xboxhueg hitboxes, and there's also the fact that the kind of aiming you need to do with Lex is in itself even easier. If you want to mention support, Ying and Grohk are harder to aim with because you need tracking aim which is inherently more difficult than using a point-and-click once gun, Seris is harder due to having an annoying delay after clicking and having extremely slow projectiles, Grover is awkward to play efficiently since his damage ramp up encourages long range play but his heal needs short range, and I guess Pip isn't too hard due to AoE but scoring direct hits with a projectile is definitely a bit harder than hitting anything consistently with Lex.

Skill ceiling is high for champions with a lot of movement ability and who are dependent on that movement to stay alive and do their job.
When it comes to aim it's just about hitscan, fast projectile, slow projectile, arced or straight and tracking. Arced is harder than straight, projectile is harder than hitscan, and tracking is it's own beast.
There is still skill in spamming LMB with Seris btw.

Make sure you're running at an FPS that is constantly above your monitor's refresh rate, disable enhanced pointed precision on your mouse settings, if you have a random cheap mouse consider getting one from a known brand (those über 1337 gaymen mice are nice but you can do just fine with a cheaper one that has a proper sensor). Then just find a sensitivity you're conformtable with and stick with it, try to keep it for every FPS you play (use mouse-sensitivity.com to translate to other games, or just get a feel for how much you turn around when you swipe your mouse all the way through your mousepad). Try to keep your crosshair at upper chest/neck height and always next to corners where enemies could come from. Just think of it as looking with your crosshair when you want to check a spot. Using a dot crosshair can help you focus on the center of your screen. I also recommend not having an FOV that is too high, lower FOV avoids distortion and improves performance, plus it helps you not hover your eyes all over your screen and stimulates the whole "look with your crosshair" thing.

Seriously proper aim is not hard to achieve unless you have technical or physical constraints.

As somebody who plays CS:GO with 800dpi over 1 i can tell you this is not a good idea for paladins, you need higher sens than in most other FPS, also FOV in this game is very important for situational awareness.

high framerate and a good mouse and mouse related settings helps, but the most important thing is to stay calm and keep focusing on your aim, don't spaz out, which is hard in this game since it can be such a chaos you almost have to choose between being aware of whats going on and focusing on your aim.

400 DPI can't remember the exact value in game but it's 52cm/360. But especially for a game like Paladins with a longer TTK I'd want a low sensitivity to consistently track a target with more room for error.

Small hitbox! A lot harder to hit while he's jumping all over.
Weightless is a better Prowl! Can get anywhere, faster, higher, half the cooldown, 3rd person, can shoot during it which makes it in-combat mobility.
Better Buck! 500 less HP, but more/better self-sustain, Explosive Flask is a better Net Shot, more damage and easier to confirm unless aerial targets.
Utility! Can always throw a heal at someone else when necessary, area slow and one of the best ults in the game.
