How many dates are there with Kawakami? I did the first one, where we went to the museum. Even though I'm at rank 10 there was no romance in that date, probably because it was made with the assumption I'd need to spend time for a rank up prior to rank 9.

I just finished the game last night. It was the first Persona game I've ever beaten.

I really loved this game, possibly one of my favorite games of all time, but I had a few questions.

I wasn't entirely sure what the fuck was going on at the end. A lot of Gurren Lagann vibes for sure, which I enjoyed, but I still didn't fully understand what happened so...

1. From what I understand, the evil god created out of everyone's desires named Yaldabaoth or some shit somehow took over Igor & the Velvet Room, but before that, Igor created and sent out Morgana as some sort of R2-D2 thing to go and find the trickster to save them all (Joker) or something like that, right?

2. I didn't really understand the prison comparison in Mementos. People were happy being imprisoned by their desires or something? They kept saying it was so they didn't have to think for themselves, but I still don't really understand it.

3. Did the giant ass fight between Yaldabaoth and the Phantom Thieves really happen? Or rather, it happened, but does the public remember it? Sae seems to remember it, and I think Sojiro does too (although he's nonchalant as fuck about it) but it seems like right afterwards the public in Shibuya just carries on about their day like nothing ever happened?

4. Why exactly did Joker have to turn himself in? It was to save his teammates from what I understand, but how? Similarly, what exactly did his teammates do to save him? I know that they got the woman to testify, but how did getting a whole bunch of people from the school and etc. together like Shiho help in that regard?

5. They're being followed (or were about to be) in the end by the government. Why? I thought the entire point of Joker turning himself in was so that they wouldn't be doing that.

Bonus: Do people really like Yusuke that much? I mean, I don't hate him or anything, but he was easily the weakest cast member. Very one dimensional, art this, art that. Everyone else felt like a real person except him.

So it would seem that the Persona 4 cast are the most blessed yet also the weakest.

Their plotline seems to be very isolated in the entire scheme of Persona.

Either it was because of their bonds with Joker, or because their shadows weren't prisoners of Mementos because they didn't just ignore the problems of the world.

Both because someone had to testify against Shido and because the police and politcians wanted to save face and do something, anything to show they took care of the thieves, even if it's just slapping him with a few minor infractions. Since he's on probation those minor things forced juvie, but when his assault charge was over turned they let him go, because the only thing they actually had him for (tresspassing and an illegal broadcast) were slap on the wrist offenses.
