Personally I would go with Australias because Asta is orb hungry and having wood skyfall up reduces the the need for constant actives to do damage. Basically it a direct upgrade of Astaroth's skill.

It's probably pretty close to the end of his second reign; there was actually a brief period of time where people argued DAthena as better than him before it turned out that his more consistent tankiness edged him out on top

two important remarks that you seem to be missing: inside a single tier subs are sorted by attribute, not strenght, so all the ones you see in S rank are roughly meant to be equally good.
the second thing is that "only" a3 farming capability is factored for this tier list, and while some years ago it was true that the best leaders were the ones that provided the safest and fastets arena clears, nowadays we're starting to have different enough endgame dungeon pool (colosseum, light jorm, a3 and horrors) that the all around strongest monsters aren't necessarily the exact same as the best a3 clearers.

these are my 2 cents, but I'd say anubis/99 is the best for colosseum and for horrors one of the 3 players better have a team with diaochan (which is again anubis or kushi) if no one brings a meme grav team. the thing that radra is falling short on is damage, which is mediocre and uneven (all concentrated on kanna), the antithesis of what the current leaders need (big, flexibly scalable, evenly spread among the subs and controllable damage). being able to tank hits is something that radra is still the best in, so if he were to get some really good subs (ie dkali like monster who deals more than 0) he'd definitely regain his throne
