My shitty idea: Prophecy summoning

Basically some [Limited] spell cards allow you to make a "Prophecy" which allows you to call a monster in your deck, the chosen monster cannot be normal or special summoned and has all its effects removed but whenever you draw it you may play it instantly (counts as your normal summon for that turn) and it gains the effect (Whenever this card is sent to your graveyard or removed from play by battle or a card's effect, place it at the top of your deck and shuffle it) and whenever you draw it again you can play it again for free, but I guess this would work more in an archetype rather than a summoning mechanic.

The first 3 of these are entirely possible though, it's a card game with built in RNG. Unless your deck is 100% consistent you'll find dead draws and your opponent will be able to sack you/pull an answer out of his ass.
The sacking one's also pretty funny considering we have grass now days and the opponent can literally win off a single lucky card. You're not always going to have an answer.

The only way to win in Yugioh is not to play.

YGO is unironically my favorite game of all time, but one of my few gripes is how it's focused on 1v1 rather than being more fluid for multi-duels. All MTG cards are worded to accomodate more than just 2 players. Not sure why YGO didn't do the same thing. If I ever get a chance to do multi-duels with friends, we have to make up our own rulings for certain cards and effects (like SwordsoRL) which always makes it less fun. What the F Konami.
