I don't regret it one bit, sure I get the cravings to play every now and again but I vent it with other games, I managed to finally play and beat some of the games that I have been piling up in my to do list - feels pretty good not having to be locked down to WoW anymore.

Just build a decent pet battle team. One of the greatest pets in game is the Anubisath Idol from AQ40, that little guy is a fucking shitwrecker. There's some others you can use for general battling like the Unborn Valkyr and the Gilnean Raven that are also really good.

At the point I'm at, I just keep my main 3 pet team. I haven't even had to change out a pet yet to do any WQs since I got to the Broken Isles.

It's kind of amazing how many leveling guides don't mention some of the little things I've noticed while getting multiple alts.

Shit like, did you know that the daily quests give you a shitload of exp, no matter what they are? That means every pet battling world quest, even the ones against the shitty low level guys, will give you a sizable chunk of exp. Great for blowing through those annoying levels, especially when you have flying.

Also people don't seem to understand how good some heroics are. I'm specifically talking about TBC, WOTLK and Cata heroics. All of them are surprisingly good exp, and you can do them for a number of levels. By the time you outlevel them by a level or two you can practically solo them. Especially if you can tank or heal (or better yet get a group) then you can BLAST through levels 70-76, 80-83 and 85-88 like this.

Then there's archaeology. If you really hate questing through Cata and Pandaria content, then you may be in luck. Archaeology for some reason gives a lot more exp at levels 80-89 than at any other level. When I level DPS characters I usually buy 280 flying and gather archaeology stuff between dungeons to maximize my exp.

Minor hint, but if you're relatively sure of yourself then soloing BRD is a great way to level from your mid 50s to 60 or so. The mobs give a shitload of exp when you're solo, and if you're a good enough tank or dps then you can easily solo the place alone with or without some heirlooms.

If I can think of some others I'll post 'em. Any tips from you guys you don't hear thrown around much?

Make sure you exhaust all of the one-time sources for Nightfallen,do the withered training when it pops up, and probably use the Kirin Tor emissary quest rep reward on nightfallen. Its the only rep you need exalted for flying I'm pretty sure so that's an extra 21k you have to pull out of your ass

Alliance is good for Walk-Up, events, and frequent RP, and a guild isn't totally necessary to have fun. Stormwind is ripe full of RP'ers to RP with, but they're a real mixed bag. Goldshire doesn't have any ERP like on Moonguard. Don't talk to Decimus. Don't start too much shit with Ephie, Impsy, Nyehehe, or any of the other big jokey characters WRA dotes on.

Horde is really good for guild story-lines, but you NEED a guild unless you just want to be in the Valley of Honor the whole time, having non-RP'ers running around a lot. Silvermoon isn't somewhere I usually go to, can't say much on that. Avoid the Blood Knights if you're into Belf RP.

Don't join any of the humongous guilds run by Varsinax, on either faction. Known to run away with the bank's gold and go, and no one in them RP's anyway. Join the WRA Discord, too. That's somewhere on the forums.

Walk-up is kind of shit so I tend to avoid that, but the guilds on Alliance were fucking heinous. Shit like the Tipsy Hourglass and "4th Legion" (Some kind of Stormwind military RP guild, they all sounded the exact same) were some of the worst people I've ever met, but Horde was just laughably bad BElf RP. I don't remember finding any guilds on Horde either.

Probably not. I did it with 4P tier and 895 ilevel. Its possible around 880ish if you have the right legendaries but it's going be kinda tough.

The challenge is mostly about surviving the first 2 or so minutes. It isn't a straight up DPS race or anything although there is a mild dps check in the latter half of the fight where you have to pop a 5 million damage bubble every 30 or so seconds. The thing is, they share damage so if you are using divine hammer and such that shield goes down pretty quick.

The hardest part is the first 1-2 minutes as you have way more mechanics to deal with and at some point in that window you will nearly have every single mechanic going off at once. Once you get through that, and get them to about 60% they almost literally stop doing anything. At this point it's a mild dps check every 30 or so seconds for his shield, and watch for the Valks on the side....that's literally all there is to do after 60%~

MM's playstyle is just not for me. I went Elemental shaman for a good while until the T20 set is centered around the fire elemental pet. Then I just continued my balance druid since it's easy and braindead to play. Guild needs innervate and battle rez anyway. Still gearing up my shaman though.

They don't want you to do that much single target damage with a cleave skill so they're transferring your damage to other skills with a blanket buff. Except these types of damage readjustments end up being shitshows and you end up getting fucked.

They did the same with feral druids. They didn't want you doing most of your damage from Rip so they nerfed its trait and gave a flat damage buff to other skills to supposedly compensate. Except it didn't work well and ferals became a laughing stock for a period until it got more buffs.

The problem is the vast majority of a windwalkers rotation IS cleave. Literally the only substantial spell of ours that does not cleave is RSK. I suspect the whole point of thunderfist was to offset the fact people sit on those spells for adds, reducing their ST damage for instance.

They clearly want to decrease our dependence on cleave & AoE considering they're also nerfing crane stacks, but there's no good way to do that unless they make all of our rotation function like meteor+1. Moments like this actually makes me miss SoO WW.
