They are not really that bad, but he uses solid enb and setups light properly just for his character showcases. You are not going to notice any artifacts on such low-resolution anyways,especially on full-body shots not a big deal. Sadly all of the ancient texture packs suffer from this problem of being compressed, but I think SG was included with uncompressed diffuses . . .? And most veterans based their textures on the ancient artifacted ones

They are in small size and certainly don't eat that much of vram. Mine uncompressed are around 388mb, thats a lot. I never really managed to get rid of artifacts on the texture I based on, could use sa-dct with photoshop, and filter these artifacts but I use gimp or just manualy edit pixelbypixel, tedious kinda.

i certainly wont write down a guide. I never followed a guide myself. I don't install unstable mods and i dont install script heavy mods until i can confirm my installation to be stable. I would just start with the essential section on tesgeneral.com and work my way down. After that, i would look up different kind of mods from everywhere and ensure they are stable.

Best advice I can give is just "be smart." Categorize your mods in MO and group similar ones together so it's easier to visualize what's where, what's overwriting what, etc. Keep your mod list as light as possible at first. Get a basic understanding of TES5Edit so you know how to hunt for conflicts. You should still use STEP ONLY for ini configuration and dyndolod, that's all it's good for at this point.

You were probably just using Wyre Bash wrong, and you should still use Wyre Bash for making bashed patches.

MO sorts all of your mods into neat little folders. When you launch the game through MO, it then makes Windows pretend that all those neat little folders are part of your data drive. This keeps you from accidentally overwriting shit (and if you do overwrite something with the "pretend" data drive, it's easy as fuck to sort what gets overwritten.)

So no idea why this is happening, everything was fine when I was playing the other day and the only difference is the 5 or so mods at the bottom of my list. I've tried turning them off one at a time and the issue didn't resolve so I doubt it has anything to do with them.

A little more info on this because I'm a scrub and didn't think to put it in that first post.

All of the esp's it's telling me I need seem to be related to BetterQuestObjectives but I did a quick look through my load list and it didn't even seem to be there. Like I said though apart from those last few mods at the bottom of the list the only things that have changes is that I've deleted some texture and follower mods. Installed Bodyslide as an executable as well if that could be an issue.
