It's probably better, but mostly for it's 4*. Corrin, Nowi, Erika, Cherche if +Atk, Hana and Rein are all pretty damn good.
The 5* are also good, just not exceptional. Chrom, Eldigan and Minerva are great. Jaffar and Leo aren't bad, Priscilla is a mounted healer.

Might as well report in this thread.
Radiant Dawn, was entertaining at least gameplay-wise. Having third tiers again was pretty nice and managing skills was a nice touch as well(God bless Astrid and Geoffrey, your skill sacrifices were not in vain). I remember reading that a new game+ changes things slightly, so there is some replayability there. While I've said good things about it, the plot went full retard somewhere along the way, maybe when Daein started fighting in the war. Some maps were just terrible, being open shit, but I can't really mind that when we get nice maps like Part2 endgame and war being mostly open world shit. All in all, I liked it. Now time to download the soundtrack and look for more art.

Ignis on a unit who deserves it looks like this.

Ignis on Eldigan, unless facing a unit with Buckler/Escutcheon/Pavise ready, will always, 100% guarantee and extra 29 damage. No matter the opponent's color or def value.

He'll do his calculated 54 Atk for combat against the unit in question.
Then, the game will tack on an additional 29 damage, straight up. Regardless of previous calculations. Could have been 1 damage, 70 damage, 0 damage.
Hell, if this Eldigan is on a team of 3 other Ward Cavalry Eliwoods and Olwens, the Ignis could add 39 damage.

It took time, but I'm happy. Ignis has only 3 Cooldown on Eldigan and he's literally the perfect unit to have it. Zephiel has Bonfire and so will Xander since they don't have Killer Weapons like Eldigan who procs it twice per battle. Eliwood has Glacies. These are simply better than Lunas for these units.

Okay, so what just happened here? I tried to attack a Klein with my Catria, 31 speed, versus his 25, but I was still unable to double him.
I'm just grinding the gift one, so I don't have any weird abilities on her. No buffs on either her or Klein, the only skills he had were his standards, Death Blow and Quick Riposte.
Does QR have a hidden effect I'm not aware of? I can't wrap my head around this one.

Sometimes I wish every game can be remade within the same generation so that we have everything on equal levels, but that's just a pipe dream.

Having some sort of Archanea super-pack with a Jugdral Remake, the Archanea/Valentia triology, and Awakening all in one, and then Elibe, Tellius, and Magvel getting their own as well would be way way way too much to ask.

Even with Heroes you're getting sort of updated art for everyone but it's all different artists even for characters from the same game so it doesn't feel as special.

It's illegal to not list the exact draw rates, and I believe it's also illegal to like remove content that was rolled for.
Nerfs are iffy territory which is why it's abstained from usually anyhow. When it is done there's usually a massive compensation, think like "everyone who rolled gets a direct refund of in game currency" level. This occurs because fans go ballistic, whales being the most important and vocal while dolphins lend more groundswell to the complaints.
Granblue fantasy notoriously had a fuckup like this and it refunded everyone who rolled as the new unit debuted their crystals. That's something you really want to avoid and Nintendo will probably never nerf due to that.

If a banner says it ends on a certain date can you still roll on the end day? For example the Zephiel banner ends on the 23rd, does that end in 2 hours or can you still roll all of tomorrow?

First, that's a terrible A-Skill on him.
Second, Glacies is WONDERFUL on his high Res, Killer Bow+ ass...so how about you find ways to make it spammable???
Third, Bowbreaker helps him not GET doubled, but with 21-27, he really shouldn't be hit by bows and daggers at all.

I mean, kudos for you spending so many feathers and dedication to your favorite unit even though you can see he sucks, but shit, man. Your skills are awful. You aren't even trying to maximize his niche of Mage-Killer. I recommend something like this, maybe?

Pivot gets him AWAY from melee range.
The Fury 3 lets him live longer, hit harder and even boosts Glacies, as well as helps fill Desperation requirements
Desperation lets him double his pathetic attack power without worrying about strong mages with his mediocre speed.
Threaten Spd helps the chance he can double at all.
All to help him charge Glacies more frequently and actually use it so his bad damage actually looks great against absolutely anyone.

And that B-Skill can be anything like Axebreaker, Swordbreaker, Lancebreaker...any other breaker other than fucking BOWS or Daggers who you shouldn't be facing at all. Lets you double without any fear when you couldn't before and that Glacies might just activate on the second hit or generally charge.

Hell, with at least 5 Niles, there, that's...approximately 4-6 THOUSAND SP you should have been able to accrue, learn skills with THEN merge to your favorite Niles. You should be ABSOLUTELY DROWNING in different Specials (Iceberg), Assists (Pivot/Swap/Reciprocal Aid) and skills...yet you have 300 SP and you're using some of the worst skills possible for him.

I meant Armored Blow, you're right. Still, it's not like every phase is Player Phase, you know? Having +6 on initiation is not better than +3 to ALL stats for EVERY phase. He's already made of glass where basically any hit not-from-a-blade-mage that -6HP after every encounter doesn't mean anything. He should be proccing Glacies (or Iceberg) as much as possible and never ever fighting melee. Only take on bows when glacies is procced. Mages are his food.

Niles is a bad unit who has a mage niche. So run that mage niche and maximize possibilities by getting Glacies up and running as much as possible.

More like Zephiel and Hector stand next to each other, one with Wary Fighter, the other with Vantage. One has Hone Armor the other has Fortify Armor. One has Reciprocal Aid, the other has Ardent Sacrifice. Attacking one means no chance of doubling, attacking the other means getting doubled on return...until you can't hit him at all. Both are practically impossible to oneshot kill, and if you don't, that's it for you.

Never mind their teammates who could be anyone, including other armors, healers, cav tomes or dancers.

Ward Armor has 2 range. That's +8 Def/Res anyway. That very bridge map can have pairs on either side and still have +8 Def/Res.

Hell, like Sheena or Gwendolyn are scared of any damage from any unit in the first place. Hector and Zephiel laughing at physical strikers. And they've all gto Distant Counter and Wary Fighter, so it's Oneshot or nothing. 0x2 or 3x4 isn't really doing much to 55 HP and insane power on Player Phase as you ineffectually fill their Bonfire Meter.

That's the point. They're walls that are nearly impossible to take down unless you are packing an overpowered mage and directing it straight Hector or Zephiel...and hoping one of their assist doesn't suddenly fling ANY of them at that glass cannon you had prepared.

Pairing on each side means the moment one unit gets baited that +8 goes down to +4. Wary fighter means they'll almost certainly survive one round of combat, which means very little when dancers exist and units will almost always reach you before you reach them.
Limited movement means that units can easily kite and pick out weak points, and you can't do a lot about it unless you invest into swap on everything. Which means you lose recovery, which means your war of attrition lasts a couple minutes at best.

It's absolute garbage on defense and mediocre at best when player-controlled, which means you can make it work but in the time you haul those fat asses through seven rounds of Arena's dipshit AI a horse team would have finished thirty minutes ago
