I would agree if we actually had that information. Uprising was the first snippet of information but before that all we knew is that they joined Overwatch together after going through the program. It's not even said if they were partners only that they met there and became friends and that was from an outside source that never knew them. Uprising gives a bit more of an impression (at least from Jack's perspective) but not much. Other than that Ana, Gabe, and Jack all fought in the same war together and endured many of the same hardships. If that difference is there, it really hasn't been implied anywhere yet.

Also there is still one other angle to consider, Jack has Ana's support. It's not as if Jack pushing Gabe away would leave him all alone. That's even more incentive considering the allegations.

Personally I watch how the battles flow before I pop it. If Ults are being comboed I'll do it just as the damaging ult comes out. If my team's trying to make a push, I'll amp up speed boost and drop it to start a fast fight and try to overwhelm the enemy team.

So really, the best time to do it is when you're going for a hard push or to try and save your team.

There is nothing to imply that was not any better than the war Jack and Gabe fought on their own home turf. Now could Chu write that in? Sure. But he would have to, 1. spend time telling that story, and 2. come up with a premise that is more dramatic than what we've seen of the omnic crisis so far. And that's to imply it isn't already dramatic as it is. What you mentioned is on track for the emotional connection we're lacking but at the same time, how is that going to be written in. You have to think of which routes are too complex and what are simple enough to digest.

hey /owg/, about 2 weeks ago, i decided to take a break from overwatch. i wasnt having fun, i was getting too competitive to the point where id refuse to play with my friends who had lower SRs and blame them for losses when I did play with them. it was like all i cared about was winning, even if we lost in QP or arcade, id get pissed and get off.

What if there was an explanation for the emotional connection that would only take, at most, 2 panels in a comic to tell? And what if you could put that explanation in a comic that doesn't even need to focus on the big 3, just include them? What if there is a far simpler method? Thus allowing you to go back to other characters and put more focus on them, which I think we can both agree is needed. That route is available.

I'm not sure of a fix. Maybe DVA stays in and can wander chasing the enemy, or slightly lower the detonation time giving less time to flee. Or yeah, some "cover" just doesn't work.

Hell even making it blow through shields would be a step int he right direction alone just because there is so much actual cover it would force people to at least scramble. Maybe even half damage behind a shield, so if Rein Absorbs it it still at least hurts the team.

What if they made it to where you still take damage but depends on the cover? Like out in the open, most heroes are gonna die. If they hide behind the payload or something similar, they'll still take SOME damage. Only way to truly dodge any damage is to hide in a building.

Any protips with her? i use my sleep darts as much as i can to let my team get free kills, i don't have issues killing pharahs with the scoped rifle and healing the tanks, usually the second healer or mercy beats me for like 1k in total healing, anything else?
