Anybody get a couple weird lag spikes today? Like up to 1000? I saw one guy bitching about it in chat but assumed it was on his end. A few games later I had it happen to me. I'm usually at 60 ping and it was popping up to 1000 and averaging about 160. I did some speed tests and everything seemed fine.

it 1shots grunts, it's great for bursting down spectres and even reapers, it's great against titans, and it's fine against pilots. it works best if you're against slows and you're flying about overhead like every other grenadier weapon but it's not terrible as a normal ass gun, you just gotta lead your shots a little if they're far away.

Ideally you shouldn't really be ADS'ing in this game. The average engagement range is so short that hip-fire will be effective for most scenarios. Using ADS only slows you down.

With that in mind, if you have to ADS (compulsion/you're using a lower sensitivity for fine aim when ADS) I would recommend the HCOG. You want as much FOV as you can get in this game, and the Ranger is way too restrictive.

Oh god one thing I hate about this game is their sight attachments. Literally feels like wearing googly eye glasses and hurts my fucking eyes sometimes I have to tilt my chair back to see whats going on. The zooming of those scopes are so horrible and blocks literally every rear view and FOV. The only sights that are tolerable are the holosight for SMGs. I really think respawn should give us an option to adjust the magnifications because the sights are just too much and only slows you down further.

my issue with the g2 is that it basically seems to be a bigger version of the wingman. it does a lot of damage but there's huge spread unless you're ADSing, and I can't reliably ADS while I'm in mid-air at 40mph. I don't understand how you can use it and also go fast, whenever I try I'm completely useless unless I'm on the ground standing still aiming.

titan loadouts only go back to stock if you have the titan unlocked. I never bought ronin, and when I regenerated last and it was still locked I noticed that it had the kits I left on it pre-regen.

Volt actually was pretty much tied with the CAR, but for some reason no one whines about it. Like literally just go test out the CAR right now, it's still untouched and is better at close to mid range than the Volt ever was.

There's also tapfire alternator and stuff. Volt wasn't even overpowering in the SMG class, it's just that SMG's are so much better than other hitscan weapons.
