I put the strawpoll for the /lolg/ roster in the OP because VGL 8 is coming up. I already sent it in the previous thread but here is another disclaimer for people that havent seen the post or aren't familiar with VGL. Feel free to vote for anything you want to see on your meme team. The more votes the better.

The /vg/ League is a tournament played on PES 17 where various /vg/ generals compete against each other in virtual divegrass. /lolg/ had a team since VGL 1 so we have been doing this for almost 4 years and never missed a tournament.
Each team consists of 23 players that represent the board, four of them gain stat boosts. That's why I put up the strawpoll so you can vote who should be on the team and who should be sacked.

On jinx? Yes it's her default life steal item. I'd argue blade is the main go to so I recommend that till it falls out of favor. Scimitar is also a good choice for defense. In short blood ain't bad.

I try to narrow it down to three. Early, mid and late scaling. Have one champ that doesn't do the same damage type the other two do. If you only have three champs, you have less options but you'll be a lot better on your matchups and general play.

For me it works well the slow active is super helpful for escapes or kiting or whatever. The fact that it's life steal covers that requirement plus her kit is tied to as which it gives. It has proper synergy with her kit and works really well. I'd say it's good early but blood is better or even when it comes to late.

What the other anon said about filling roles typical of your lane is correct. As a toplaner one of my picks is a dedicated tank and the other is somewhere is somewhere between a bruiser and a tank. You don't want to play assassin wukong mid for example because as a mid your team often wants AP.

I recommend two champs per role and two roles to make a total of four champs. Any more forces you to think excessively about learning champions instead of the game itself, which is more important. You'll have more time to make yourself into an lcs style allrounder in high elo.

I made diamond with Kled and Shen. Kled was my carry pick if I thought I could smash lane and Shen would do the lifting if I felt like playing passively and for the team.

4 for your two main roles that you'll be picking most games. The most optimal plan is to learn champions that cover each other's weaknesses. If there's a couple commons counters for your favorite mid laner or something it's not a bad idea to make the counter to those counters a secondary character you can pick. Beyond that just having a diverse pool that can work with whatever teamcomp you have is good.

3 champions for your two slightly less preferred roles is fine, though you might be able to get away with 2 depending on how good you are with them. Then there's one role every player is subpar at and you should be avoiding it at all costs, at least in ranked. Honestly you're probably better off trying to trade it away or straight up dodging rather than playing it out since you're almost never gonna have practice on it, unless it's support. You can get away with 2 champions for whatever this role happens to be for you.

Darius has so much base damage that you can go pure tank and quadra the enemy team in a teamfight. Nasus has to work toward getting a lategame with stacks and even then is so lacking that he needs to build items like Triforce to kill the enemy team.

I'm actually okay with Fiora's Riposte reflecting CC. She has no CC of her own, and if you don't get hit by it it's kind of like you landed the CC anyway because she has to stop attacking to do it.

I think Riposte should ONLY be for reflecting CC though, and that she shouldn't be fucking INVINCIBLE during it. If I see her Riposte, and then I specifically hold off and don't CC her, I should be rewarded with free hits in while she's self-rooted and committed to her Riposte.
