Leaps just get blown up, chains are too slow. only ex chain kinda works but even thats no guarantee.
Cannot reliably armor because all of his moves hit twice.
Birdie is tall so his fireball hit him earlier than other characters.

He can completely control the flow of the match, he can either keep out while zoning or slide in with his fireballs out and then pressure for free.
