It was extremely obvious.

That said I'm glad they tried to foreshadow the big twist. Obviously I knew the spoilers going in but I still enjoyed watching it play out. There were other important points that they slowly revealed which were more subtle than the pancake thing such as the fact that a stable person would have an accurate replica of reality outside of their Palace.

Shido: Relation to Joker, and is the primary antagoist through the game.
Kaneshiro doesn't know Makoto, offers nothing really new plot wise and his Normal and Boss Shadow designs are uninspired. He's such an out of place element
