Who here plays Reflex? I wish I could get into it, but the crazy CPMA style air movement in the game is too spastic for my taste. You just move around the map so fucking fast compared to Q3. The art style of the game is hard to appreciate as well.

Is the game simply better than Quake Live once you get a hang of it? Maybe I need to give it another chance.

Ut2k4 was the last game they really tried on then they moved onto console gaming and console focused engines with UE3. I'm not sure why Epic doesn't realize the thing they had over Quake was more content right out of the box. are you trying to crouch slide without strafe jumping beforehand? you need at least a little bit of extra speed if you dont want to slow down while CSing

I'm happy Visor still looks as gory as he does. Before actually seeing the high res models it looked like his face was all normal and fleshy instead of properly bloody and bolted-on like it is.

Still, he's missing that sickly green skin and plug-in ports everywhere from Q3A, but yeah, Visor is great. Anarki just looks stupid and Slash's sewn-in augmentations are totally gone.
