Threadly reminder that Konami actually thought it was a good idea to fracture early OCG sets for the release to other countries and drip feed the rest of the world vanillas for nearly 2 decades.

We are a few months away from the first link summon cards and Konami STILL has not made English copies of over half the original vanilla cards. That doesn't mean we won't get them, it just means probably for the next decade cards like this will find their way into obscure tournament packs and such

Japan got their first packs in like 1998, the US didn't get ours till 2002. Rather than start us off 4 years late, they just started us off closer to where Japan currently was.

That said, why they never just did an OCG originals set or something back when at least some of the cards were a little relevant is a mystery. But, I guess you could argue by sprinkling them out over the years like they have, they gave the cards a bit of infamy and desire, rather than just being forgettable junk

Cerberus deck with 3 trap jammers for michizure and 2 of those trap cards that heal you based on the ATK of the attacking monster, can't remember the name lol, too lazy to google. Rest are spells. Can beat him most of the times with over 9999 dmg.

In an interview, if I'm not mistaken, Konami said that this game is bringing them a lot of $, and that they may explore the option of bringing the full game (y'know, 8000 LP more card zones, 40-60 decks) to mobile. This is another reason why I'm a fan of bringing the "full" game to mobile. Look, I like going to hobby shops and playing games. I did this the other day and played actual Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG for the first time in 10 years. I bought some packs too. What I remembered is... booster packs are such a gamble -- though can be fun when you pull something nice. But once you're like me and have bought Packs for years, you end with with a massive inventory of useless ass cards. At least, with a mobile format, we have our stuff all digitized, without the need to organize.

However as we've seen here with DL, it's also exciting when we get a SR or UR.

So in short: yes, I agree. There is no reason for the Physical TCG to exist. Mobile is the future. Hell, even if you like the physical game, you can still play with folks IRL, just bring a big Tablet or something.

The thing is, Voice lines of characters saying Pendulum, XYZ and Synchro have already been found. Both from NPC's and LD. Fucking Yami Yugi says "I Synchro Summon". All summoning methods are coming.

I believe the issue is if you summon Pirahna/Vassal when Big-Tusked Mammoth is out, they can't attack that turn so Secret Passage doesn't see them as a valid target and thus won't let you select them.

Look at some of the decks on here to get an understanding of how to get high scores.

You need a specific setup and stall out the whole duel to get 6k-8k. The main thing is dealing over 9999 damage to the face in one hit or at least over 5000.

Is this a known issue? I buffed the fisherman and his attack should have been 2250, I attacked anyway despite it not fixing, and during the attack, it was still 1850 attack. When the battle ended, the attack fixed to 2250, but I took 350 damage and my cards were destroyed.

The rules they're using in this version are kind of divisive for me; On the one hand I love how fast the duels are. but on the other hand. They make me feel claustrophobic, the table is too small, and some cards that can be fucking devastating in the regular game become just sort of an inconvenient.

Also cutting the size of the mace in half makes luck less of a factor I think, but at the same time it really encourages you to focus your strategy into a blitzkrieg.

There are two main phases
One before the battle phase and one after.

You can still only summon once per turn but you can switch the position of monsters who haven't attacked.

Obviously makes quick spell cards A LOT more useful.
