Depends on the community. /tosg/ and the 10 posters who come here hate Doppel. Forum is neutral, but most Doppel players on the forum are utter cancer / cringe posters. In game people always know you will come up as number 1 in any dungeon run.

It's fun and fast paced, but needs gear almost instantly when hitting Rank8 to work well. If you don't get help to even get your practonium box you will suffer. A gale slasher at stage 5 ensures you can solo all content other classes like Pyro, PD2 etc. do with white gear. You need 8x Glass Moles to make any kind of daily grind fast or enjoy sitting in dungeons forever. No other cards offer anything like it.

A lot of silver, a lot of dedication and a lot of time and you have one of the most fun classes in the game. No other class in the game does 5 to 7 skills in 3 seconds flat and nukes mobs like a Doppel, but again this needs funding. Also even if Deed's reduces defenses to near 0, it's still smart to invest into a full plate set with yellow gems.

Lastly I don't think this general has any Doppel players so don't ever ask help here, because you will most likely get shitposted on by Telsai's own clown Katzbalger (dead guild leader) and NA's hatecrew of wandcucks and clericucks who are assblasted that a sword beats them in damage checks at every turn in the game.

It's fun. Yes, I have corsair c1.

Honesty, this build is pretty good with Doppel c1 over Corsair c1 for PVE. Similar to that Hop 3 version but with a much more active playstyle and fun combos.

Plus that Serpentine+Cleave+Warcry (for +10 segundos of debuff) +Pouncing will be so good (I'm still dragoon c1).

Barb combos are scaling nicely too with physical attack after the changes and it's a very fun class to play. Taunt, stun, cut and smash stuff.

Every class in this game is garbage without gear in terms of solo ability and fun. If you roll a full support you can get away with no investment but Doppel isn't one of those. You have a ton of R8 skills that need heavy money investment to make them good.

Doppel is exactly like a Guts character. You take heavy damage when Deeds is fully stacked from every monster and solo is suffering, but in return you can one shot just about anything with your skills including 2 million health bosses in 10 seconds.

Don't follow those builds, almost all on that site are god awful. Necro is mostly a one point dip for flesh cannon and flesh pole, nobody really tries to play anything past Necro 1 as anything but an afk farmer because apparently it's pretty weak.

Necro 1 with Sorc is a good combo though because Flesh pole doubles Templeshooter's damage if you want to play a dedicated summoner character.

I'm making one. Wiz1Cryo3Sorc2Necro1 atm. I'll probably get Rune Caster later. Needs some funding with attributes to have decent DPS against bosses, but it's pretty strong to clear rooms in dungeons. Frost Pillar + Flesh Cannon or Templeshooter special attack is an amazing combo.

Don't do this build, it's fucking terrible. Keep the Pyro, it's leagues better. All they are doing here is making you fall for an old outdated build which revoles around gathering mobs with 1 skill and then praying that your fucking summon can finish them off, which it can't, then you walk around being frustrated that your build sucks so much. At least with Pyro you can do damage outside of that one 2 minute combo.
