There's a lot of notable characters in Tactics due to the nature of the way the plot goes. I don't blame them for not putting everyone in since they''d just overload it. The ones we have now, maybe barring Mustachio to some degree maybe since I'm under the impression that not many people care about him, are the most prominent. After them we have Rapha and Malak, Meliadoul, Algus, Alma/Altima, all the templars but mainly Weigraf, Dycedarg and Zalbaag, Marquise Elmdore, and Worker 8. Even if you don't care about the rest of the templars and Elmdore, all of these guys need to get in at some point if they want to put in all of the most noteworthy figures. Tactics easily has the most available characters to put in without asspulling or putting in literal whos.

If you didn't get a Vestment of Mind, the Tabby Suit is a decent armor for supporting characters as 10% HP and 20% MP is just useful.
An ATK 15% materia is better than an ATK 10% materia.
Summon tickets are summon tickets and star quartz is start quartz. Furthermore metal gigantuars and 6* materials are, indeed, what they are.

I got my Setzer after one daily and 7 ticket pulls. I got a dupe Chiz and Gaffgarion from golds before Setzer dropped. My ticket luck with events still stands strong. I even got a fourth Zidane out of the summons as well, not that I will prioritize the 4th dual wield when I got 3 of them and a Second Knife.

It helps with damage but its main use is probably more the fact that SB generates faster if you hit a weakness. A lot of mages don't have Lifesiphon or Wrath.

Is Ariana a lot better now with her Dualcast?

She's my strongest mage atm, (my team is Call of Duty, Exdeath, Cecil, Refia, Ariana); Exdeath would be more damaging but I don't have many good items or TMR's/materia, and Ariana was really easily to farm for (thanks Gumi).

If I were to get Trance Terra this event, should I replace CoD with her? I mostly use her for Omniveil, and iirc Terra has something like that.

Ariana is a decent mage for a F2P player with her materia but there are much better mages out there. Exdeath is better than Ariana by miles, especially if he has her materia to help alleviate his squishiness. Ariana is used basically as a Soleil who can actually hurt stuff, aka her primary role is that of a buffbot.

And yes you want to do the event just to get the Tickets, maybe some of the equipment if you are still starting off. Purecrysts are only for those who wants to enhance their units, like myself who has a Ramza who wants the support cryst.

So 9S's TM gives every single character in the game the ability to chain an 8 hit 300% attack.

Plus a super strong regen move, Locke's treasure hunter, and an AoE two turn 40% mitigation move. It's fucking great, literally best boy.
