That's a double edged sword. Yes, it was easy to make a decent looking character in AA and it was fairly hard to make a shitty looking one, but at the same time you were dealing with a nasty sameface problem. As in you could take characters from like 4 different people and they'd all look pretty much the same.

Question about AAU. I'm trying to change a girl's height so that it's in between short and normal. But when I change the height with AAU, the game doesn't compensate and when she gives a blowjob the dick goes through her forehead, and their faces are very far apart when they "kiss".

Is it possible to get that in-between height? Am I doing something wrong with the slider, or am I just wasting my time?

Neither the game or AAU compensate for AAU sliders in animations. You can compromise by raising her a little from the "floor" but it won't be perfect. For that you need a custom slider for the zentai or skeleton bone and translate it upwards a notch.

A relationship with a character is a 30 point scale of LLDH points. Generally speaking a successful action will raise love or like and a failure or bullying action will raise dislike or hate. Once you have 30 points, each new point you gain will replace the oldest point you have.
Lower virtues will fuck in the hallway with someone they barely even know - lowest has a 40% chance on first interaction. Highest virtue will not normally have sex without a relationship, will only have a relationship with 1 person who must not be dating anyone else (yet), and even then won't enter that relationship without high love.
If you want to rush love with a girl you cannot waste actions by doing friendly things, since friendship will hurt your chances of dating a higher virtue girl. Only talk about love/lewd, get physical, and praise when it will raise her love for you.

Getting an odd bug. For some reason, character models outside of dialogue now occasionally have hats. They disappear during dialogue, but for some reason they pop up randomly around school. The last thing I changed was putting in the Jeanne cards, which I know I added the mods for in AAU first.

I can ignore it, but it's a bit annoying. Anyone have an idea?

I installed hexapp with aainstall but since aaface doesn't let me select them in the maker, I tried changing a card's personality with reiedit to one of the aa1 ones, but it just defaults to sweet instead. The .zip is called "[AA2][HEXA Hairpack][RE][v3.0][Various]". I don't remember what Install said but I don't think it was anything out of the ordinary, I just synchronized it like with everything else. Hair list is pic related. I found nothing much inside the data folder although there were a few files named HEXA and HEXAOC_A/B/C on them. I think that's all I got, really. I don't know what's up. Like I said, all the other hairpack files are just lying in the Maker folder because I don't know what else I could do with them.

I have two Junko cards. For whatever reason, her hair works on one of them now (?). Look at pic related. I have 4 Ryuko (top) cards, her hair is fucked on all of them. I have several Asahina (middle) cards, the hair is also fucked on them. Same for Kirigiri at the bottom. No idea why one Junko works now but whatever.

What is the beta test program?
I need help. I can't possibly foresee every aspect where the apron need fixes or improvements so I come to you, /aa2g/. I need you to test it, to examine it, to push the boundaries. So what else to make it fun than to make a posing event out of it? And so, I request to those interested in the apron and those that like quests to make some fun, cute or lewd poses with it. I've gotten actual intercepts working, which means that I can replace any data that AA2 loads with my own data
Like in the picture I've loaded my own image instead of the normal background that's in the game data

I've also implemented compressing audio and image data, so you can see how much space that AA2 takes up can be reduced by (audio can be compressed to 13%, and images can be compressed down to 3%)

Only problem is that the uncompressed version needs to be smaller or the same size of the original otherwise the game crashes, and that the game lags a LOT when it's doing lots of small reads, but from what I've seen it's something that can probably be fixed by keeping files loaded in memory

Whenever the game requests data from a certain .pp file, I get the file position it is at and determine which actual file it wants
I decompress the actual file into a format that the game wants (.bmp for images, .wav for audio) and give AA2 that data instead of the data that's saved in the PP
I also have to encrypt the data before it gets given to the game as for some reason Illusion felt the need to encrypt their .pp files even though it does literally nothing other than slow down the game

If you used gzip you would probably only get a 80% ratio with audio files (from 10mb to 8mb, very little difference)
And if you did the same for images you would get around 50%

It would also take a lot longer since gzip isn't optimized for a single format unlike mp3 and jpg

But it does make sense for formats like .xx and .xa since they don't have a compressed format

The problem is that leg files are separate files from the rest of the body in AA2, but in ppd they're all one mesh. If you keep the legs, you have to completely cover them with the clothing mesh while also ensuring that the covering legs have the same bone weights as the legs do so they move together. We might be able to make 'blank' leg files, but that would require a CC update.

The naked apron is not in the same slot as the camisole if you got the camisole from the google doc. That guy manually installed the camisole to a non-standard slot. The naked apron has no slot conflicts if you have never manually installed a sourou clothing mod.

You sure you have the language pack installed m8? Because the only scenario where I know that AA2 has weird fonts is when you have never installed the east asian language pack.

It usually only happens when you run the game with locale emulator or NTLEAS because when you change your computer non-unicode setting to Japanese, it automatically installs the Japanese fonts like MS PGothic
