how the FUCK do I get the Morrowind Code Patch to work with a cracked EXE

The patcher tells me HURR DURR THIS ISNT A LEGITIMATE VERSION or something and refuses to patch, and even when using the original version the the installer on the ISO put in there, it will patch, but can't run, and when using some shitty no-cd patch from gamecopyworld on TOP of the modified original, still doesn't start the game and just gives an annoying STEAM ERROR popup

These threads made me reinstall Skyrim for the first time since 2015. After reinstalling around 100 various mods I keep getting annoying status updates as text on the top left corner, shown in the screenshot.

He's a Khajiit highwayman from Senchal in Elsweyr, grown to be hardened and merciless after the slaughter of his gang at the hands of an Imperial Battlemage whose summer villa in Senchal they tried to rob, him being the only survivor and thus the only one to stand trial for the Battlemage's death.

He's been in Morrowind for more than a month now, and while he started out as a bitter cunt who would kill you over pocket change, he's starting to (very slowly) grow out of his disillusionment with society as he meets people who are willing to stick by him and be loyal allies. He still views mortal life as cheap and expendable, but he's begun to value some lives over just his own despite his best attempts to not get attached to anyone in Morrowind.

Still not a good character, by any stretch, he's merciless and uncaring towards random strangers and downright savage towards his enemies. Slow to trust, and quick to anger.

Holy FUCK Dawnguard has to be the worst expansion to a game I have ever had the misfortune of playing. I'm playing through it again right now with every vampire and NPC improvement I can, and by Talos this has to be the weakest story written.

no, the red stuff appears because you -failed- to include the setting recommended by STEP wiki, it NEEDS to be set to 1 regardless of you using speedhacks without graphics or not. More likely is that you didn't put it in the right place, because you don't know what you are doing.

Try to find shelter in Oldrim during a rain/snow storm and you'll find that precipitation clips right through everything. That's completely fixed in SSE. There's an Oldrim mod that requires SkyProc patching but it has quite a few issues, doesn't cover all locations, and hasn't had an update in years. It's probably dead for good now thanks to SSE.
