According to Soejima's comments in the official design works, Robin Hood doesn't actually seem to be a random Persona Goro picked up so much as just a second one he gained somehow. His design very specifically draws from Goro's own image of a hero, incorporates a logo like the kind Goro has on his attache case, and is supposed to give a sort of "look at me as I perform a good deed!" kind of feeling/impression (rather than that of someone who acts purely for society's sake).

Futaba's observation is in line with that too, since she notes that his two Personas seem to represent his lies (Robin Hood) and resentment (Loki) respectively.

Let's take that whole Christmas Cake thing as an example. "A woman is like a Christmas Cake, nobody wants it after the 25th."
That is a concept so completely and absolutely alien to me and anyone around me that I cannot accept that into my own set of values.
All the women around me in college are about that age, a bunch of my female cousins are that age and none of them are viewed as "too old" by society. The concept of marrying that young is just utterly alien here. And if Japanese games talk about like that as if it were self-explanatory, I just have to turn my brain off and pretend they didn't just say something infinitely dumb and backwards.

It isn't as though I can't relate to Eastern stories, it's just concepts like this that I am neither able nor willing to relate to.
