holy shit as a support main this pisses me off to no end when we're at a choke point and you decide to charge their enemy reinhardt right into the enemy team with no call out.

you're just gonna get ana naded so I can't heal you and then picked off within two seconds, leading to a team wipe for us because their reinhardt easily healed off the 300 damage and has now pinned our second tank back.

If you want to pin their reinhardt, call it out and make sure that we have some form of either divers for their healers or CC ults so we can follow up.

One thing people get wrong about Rein is the idea that they either have to totally defensive, just shielding and throwing the occasional fire strike, or totally offensive, going full commitment with charge. It never occurs to them to just walk forward swinging their hammer, ready to put shield up again whenever it's needed. It's a good way to get ult charge and make enemies less likely to push close.

Now that said, don't be a dumbass. If there's a roadhog in front of you, you obviously should just shield. Be aggressive when you can get away with it, and don't overcommit. Also, remember that taking damage isn't a bad thing, as it will get your healer's ults up really fast.

Ana is more DPS than she is support, and that's often how she's played in high comp. She's still a great hero all around.

I literally just had a game where a hog tried to solo ult me in relatively close range (small health pack room next to the point on Oasis: University) and I fortified and killed him.

Try aiming for the head next time, with how slow he moves during ult it was extremely easy to just unleash a stream of head shots at him.

What are the benefits to a higher DPI? Assuming you adjust your in-game sensitivity accordingly. I heard in a youtube video that high send players benefit from high DPI. I went from 1600dpi to 3200 and then divided my sensitivity by 2. It feels better but is it placebo? 3200 DPI and 10.8 sensitivity, I know it's crazy but I've reached masters the past two seasons like this playing projectile characters

I'm just about done with this fucking game.

There isn't a single viable counter to Genji in mid ELO. I'm so fucking sick of it. Every fucking game the resident Genji autist dominates the entire round while being unstoppable.

In very low ELOs you can counter him with Winston. In very high ELOs, your team's McCree with 80% accuracy will take care of him.

In between - nothing. Just a gaping balance void where Genji reigns supreme. Winston can't do crap all as soon as the Genji has an OoH or a Zarya shield or any other modicum of support, and the McCrees don't have enough raw aim to hit his tiny as shit, wonky hitbox.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck in this ELO, my aim will never be good enough to hit his microscopic fucking hitbox, this is just eternal torment of [SCREAMING IN JAPANESE].

To be fair it doesn't seem like there was much thought put into that aspect early on in development. When they first revealed the game Hanzo's ult was the only thing they had in a hero's native language out of the 12 heroes. Widowmaker had a different VA for a very short time in the beginning and of course Mercy's was changed later on but they value how well a voice fits their idea of the character over authenticity.
