Well we've got what, another year or two before it releases? Plenty of time for them to work on the models. And 0.2 Kairi (KHUx) looks perfect there so fingers crossed that's what the end product ends up resembling. We saw them alter the Terra and Aqua models right up until the release of 2.8 so I'm not too worried that they'll fuck them up for KH3.

After a good ~85 hours, I managed to 100% KH1 and KH2 on their respective hardest difficulties (all bosses/worlds, ultima weapons, level 100/99, gold crown, didn't bother with gummi shit). It was an amazing time, but a hell of a tribulation.

Should I bother doing the same for the following games in the series? I'd rather just chill through the games on beginner mode if doing otherwise isn't worth the time and effort.

well it took me 10 hours to beat Re:Com with Riku but I've spent like 2 hours retrying over and over against Replica Riku 2nd fight and Ansem as the last boss. I was trying to beat him using sleights, but I realized after figthing a couples of time the duel thing is made for that specific fight and you need to abuse it otherwise Ansem fucks with 0's to prevent you using sleights and high level cards.

Magnet is basically your go-to on Critical as soon as you get it. It lets you do a Thunder on tons of enemies, and Reflect is absurd damage wise. It can slaughter anything, even Data bosses.

Well "Git gud" is pretty accurate. You can roll or Quick Run through some of his stuff, you can block everything he hits you with physically, only the Faith attacks can't be blocked so you use Reflect or you Glide away. When he DMs you just glide around the arena.

pretty much the only thing you've mentioned I can use(or even have access to at all) are Guard and Reflect, and I'm not really good enough at the timing for either to be able to reliably use either of them(honestly Guard in this game is pretty awful considering how slow it is combined with the ridiculously small window in which it will actually block anything, and Reflect isn't much better in that regard)

only two of my forms(Valor and Wisdom) have been leveled up at all(and they're only at level 2), I honestly barely use Drive Forms, as it takes forever to refill the Drive gauge after using one(similarly I've barely used any Summons), not helped by the fact that they aren't refilled by save points and the only item that refills them is rare as hell(unless you craft them, but even materials drop rarely enough that crafting consumable items seems like a bad idea)

honestly the Drive Gauge system feels really half-baked, cause it's clear they want you to use it a lot, but don't give you the resources to do so

You can easily gain Drive gauge back by simply leaving certain areas while still in Drive form. The area with the Shadows in TWTNW is an example of one you can exit and have your Drive be at whatever you started it with. Another is one of the areas in Agrabah that I'm blanking on, it's in the cave on the way to Jafar, and another is in Twilight Town in the mansion, entering the data room there (Where Sora was) snaps you out of it, and I believe there's one in the Underworld because it's how you grind all the summons. Later in the game you also tend to earn more Drive per hit.

You really need to at least grind Limit and Wisdom at the bare minimum, the Wisdom grinding point is directly outside of where Roxas is and I believe walking into his map cancels out of a Drive form (Doesn't do this once you beat him). Otherwise you need to grind in Timeless River and when your Drive is about to end you just exit Timeless River via the orb thing. Valor and Master can be done on Mushrooms if I remember right, I can't remember what you do for Limit, Final is in the Twilight Town Mansion but you don't have it yet.
