They literally wouldn't be able to do that seeing as Infinite Difficulty is entirely based around the new Exorcism system. No balance patches or ancient mats rework can happen though since those came after Infinite Difficulty was initially added.

They did that because it doesn't take much just to change the stats of the items. DFOG didn't get the increased Ancient Mat gain because that requires them to patch in the revamped dungeons and patch in the new daily challenges for them. A big system overhaul like that is way more work then simple stat changes.

Just do scenarios till 90's. If you somehow run out of them, leech out of someone else's. Be sure to use the exp pots from Senior on the appropriate channel, along with the honey time's pot for an extra boost (the pot is bugged and doesn't expire until you switch character or channel. Take note Pandemonium scenarios are considerably harder compared with the previous ones.

Once you're at 90, run OV to get whatever OV set is good for your character. It doesn't take very long anymore to get a full set. You'll want to keep running it afterward to get whatever OV set is used for buff swapping for your character. Do your research, I only know one class and it isn't weapon master.

You also want to run the Ancient dungeon City of Noire Ferra for the daily every day to get the mats for the Gracia set to replace the OV junk. You want six pieces of that. Ideally you'd run the EX version but in practice it may not be feasible with your gear level (and it's a bit more expensive).

Also, as soon as possible can, join a guild, and run guild dungeons on weekends so you can turn in the certificates you get for the 40 Demon Invite box every day during the week. It's the most consistent and fastest way of getting DIs apart from buying gold and then buying challenges and you need a SHITLOAD of DIs.
