actually there is an easy way for ggg earn even more money - mtx classes. You can start from marauder but the model would be a witch or scion or vice-versa. They don't even need any new fancy 3d models or anything since the models have 0 relation to gameplay. Only avatars and full-sized ascendancy 2d pictures will have to be redrawn. Although more realistically they just don't play their own game desu, I doubt any of the devs actyally achieved anything in the game without having infinite currency and/or custom items. The fact that some builds specialized in lab running exist does not prove or disprove that lab is bad in design you blubbering idiot. It only shows that it's profitable as a farming activity which is completely off-topic. That those builds are cheap means that lab farming is not gated behind wealth (it takes less than 5c to get a lab runner geared up) unlike many other end game areas. That some players can do it means it requires a certain amount of skill, not gear. Skill thus matters more than gear.

the only gear hurdles are cruel a4, merc dried lake, t8 maps, t10 maps, t12 maps, and then t15 maps

it's important to make sure you'reare resists are capped and that you have enough life to avoid being oneshot(2.5k hp in cruel a4, 5k in merc dried lake, 5.5k in t8 maps, 6k in t10 maps, 6.5k in t12 maps, 10k+[kaoms heart or CI] in t15 maps)

defenses come first and damage comes second. you can always farm easier content while in the process of gearing up to prepare for harder maps, but dying is unacceptable, and there's also reflect to worry about so there is such a thing as too much damage
