Damage is split evenly among the tiny pellets of his shotgun. So those tiny pellets are all being affected by the damage reduction.

The issue is, there are only three characters in the game with shotguns for weapons which are hard countered by that ability. Fortify falls flat on its ass against any precision hero who can hit her in the head which is like 75% of the roster.

Why do people not understand that the DPS is a team and should focus the same target to secure kills?

Why do people not understand that total damage output is a function of the entire team, and if your team damage is low it could mean that your healers and tanks are fucking bad and failing to keep the DPS alive?

Orisa at range can't do anything. The travel time on her projectiles make it impossible to hit fast moving targets unless you're close as possible. Her barrier at that range only becomes a self-protection tool as her team dies from having no tank to sponge damage.

All she really needs is a buff on the projectile speed. Her damage is bretty good, the issue is it's comically easy to avoid her bullets. I can't tell you how many times I've had a Mercy or Ana cornered only to have them hop away because the bullets take 30 seconds to reach them from point blank.

She can't protect the backline, flankers are too fast and destroy her 1v1. She cannot counter any flankers, Genji, Tracer, and Reaper rape her ass with no lube.

Her "best" role is a good front line fighter. She can beat most tanks on the front line, providing equal support. Unfortuantely that doesn't mean much when there are other tanks that are just as good on the front line and have other abilities that make them more powerful.

Rein can literally just back away spinning his shield against people unless they get right up in his face to the point where they can kiss him, OR charge away. Zarya gains damage and a brief respite with her bubbles, Dva just flies away, and Wintson jumps away.

3/4 of the listed characters have an escape button, and the other fucks up any single misplay with her defences.

Orisa just can't do anything against flankers, she melts.

If you can justify switching to sombra after you have solidified report with your team mates then it's a different story. She'd be great if her primary was a hitscan. I don't know why they made it a projectile when she is clearly a rip off of heavy weapons guy.

The way Orisa should work:
- from range, you plink enemy shields/ and disrupt their team with primary weapon, use HALT to set up combos and "peel" enemies.
-any homo that gets too close without dealing with her gets ripped to shreds by point blank minigun
- weaknesses are lack of mobility and huge hitbox, no self heal, and a reliance on her team to capitalize on HALT.

How she works now (live):
-Spam m1 and m2 at enemy team, occasionally get a elimination because your bullet hit someone that died 20 seconds later. Do damage to sheilds and nothing else.
-Try to bait rein charges, hooks, and boops with your fortify. Hoping your team can finish off whoever uses it.
-put a barrier down in front of you so you don't get instantly fucked by snipers or dps. God forbid you need to leave your shield or use it wrong, because now you're useless for 15 seconds.

I like those comics where pharah is a child/teen and have fun with the overwatch member like McCree for example. I like McCree - Pharah.
