He and his buddies are 19 year old redditors and occasionally drop memes, but they're not awful. Seem to be semi normalfags but pretty chill guys. Been teasing out my powerlevel now and again.

They're 1k MMR higher than me too, but I haven't played ranked in forever.
I play on their level as far as I can tell. I don't feel like I'm being carried lke when I played with some 6k dudes who clearly knew better than me. A bit odd playing with guys so much younger than me, but it's enjoyable in the end. Just having guys who are consistently competent and that I can rely on to not draft retarded shit is enough.

I have never seen a Lycan that knows what they are doing lose. Playing with or against one. You can't have any presence on the map outside of your base without taking serious tower damage. Even if you manage to delay and kill him all it takes is 20 seconds left alone and you lose a set of rax. How is this balanced?

Shadowshaman gets rekt late game as carries get enough attack speed to make sneks useless. Again all thatters are two spells, hex and shackle.
Shackle at which point is less effective due to everyone having stuns.

Lich is the only right answer since the only bad spell lategame is sacrifice and his talent trees provide him with decent damage if he needs it.

Hey Guys, I've thought of a great idea to improve Dota 2

Basically it's a new hero customization system called "Talent Cards"
You can now customize the Talent Trees of each of your heroes by using these cards

HOW TO GET THEM:

- Talent Cards are bought in packs containing 4 cards; 3 common cards, and 1 rare card
- Common cards will be more of generic bonuses that apply to all heroes, like increase movespeed, damage, gold per minute, xp per minute, etc...
- Rare cards will be more skill-specific bonuses like +30 Fissure damage, +2 Meepo Clones, +5 hits Living Armor, etc...
- Some generic bonuses will be rare, some skill-specific bonuses will be common, depending on balance

HOW TO USE THEM: (PIC RELATED)

- To customize a hero's Talent tree, simply go to the "HEROES" tab in your Dota menu, select the hero you want to customize, then click on the new "TALENTS" button next to LOADOUT
- Just scroll through your list of Talent Cards you own for the hero and they display the text and level requirement of the talent
- Select the card you want to equip and click-drag it into one of the two slots of its required level
- During future games, the talent in that slot of the tree will now have the effect of the equipped card

HOW IT IMPROVES DOTA 2:

- All players can now customize the Talent Trees of ALL or their favorite heroes to tailor them to their playstyle
- Do you want to play a Bloodseeker that moves superfast even when your opponents are at full HP? Do you want to play a fighting Anti-mage that blinks every 2 seconds and Burns the mana of all enemies in the AOE? Yes you can!
- The possibilities of custom talent builds are only limited by your skill and imagination!
- This is not P2W. All Talent Cards are designed to still be on par with the default talents of each level. It just adds more fun options for players that want to try new playstyles for their heroes!

I am 100% confident that this new feature will add hours and hours of enjoyment to Dota 2.

Also, what should supports be doing most of the game? I am finding that when the lane is rough.. I don't really do much. Roaming as a non-roaming support is awful. However, I don't want to just stand in lane and leech exp but I feel thats often what I am doing.

Also, what are good starting items for most supports? I always feel like I fuck up my starting items. I often by 2 sets of tangoes, courier and 1 ward, 2 branches and some clarity if I can afford.

Seriously, if you can put the offlane a couple levels behind in the laning phase you have a 70% chance to win the game. Imagine if the enemy centaur was the last core in the game to hit 6: you'll get free towers.

What if branches when used on an enemy would get destroyed and stun the enemy for something like 0.5 seconds? the stun would fail on channeling heroes and it would have a cooldown of 1 minute or so

That's the most autistic thing I have ever seen someone do. There is literally no point in doing that, even if d2g and r/dota wouldn't be made up by the same people I would still ask myself why you would do that ranking.
Next problem: you label them by from best tier to shit tier. Why? You don't rank the heroes based on how good athey are, but how much "d2g" they are. I mean even if you don't consider shit tier heroes to be "reddit", why would you call d2g heroes to be best tier when the average mmr here is at most 3k?

How do you keep enemy cores under control as a support? I am finding that more and more I will do well early game and then lose late game because somehow the enemy cores catch up. I don't understand.

Also, is dazzle a shit hero? I like him but he seems strangely fragile and its so easy to jump him.

I am just trying to find a support for me that I actually like playing but isn't brain dead. For example, I like lich a lot but he is a brain dead hero to play and extremely boring and I don't like praying to RNG for good bounces.

What is the appropriate talent path for jakiro?

People tell me to take cast range over dual breath DPS in that one tier. Also, you always take XP talent over that amplification talent right?

It's pretty clear to me, after some topics here on this subreddit, that one of the major reasons behind Dota 2's number of players been decreasing is the recent performance issues and the frustration of the players for not having the same FPS they had before.

I'll take my country as an example: Brazil is a shit country and he wave very little money to buy eletronics, they're really expensive related to some average income of the population. Eletronics here have really huge taxes and stuff like that... It's kinda rare when a person actually have money to play on 5-core 3.3GHz processor with the latest dedicated video card... most people actually don't have money to own a desktop AND a laptop so they go just for the laptop instead.

I would say that out of 100 people that play games, here in Brazil we have at least 60 playing League, and like 10 playing dota, TOPS. And what's really interesting behind this approximated number is that League can run on a steady 60fps, without drops on team fights, all options to medium, on a i3-6100u laptop (as confirmed by myself). While dota barely goes higher than 50, dire base is like 35 and team fights i have 25 or something and it's impossible to actually click and stun a weaver with her new shukuchi movespeed talent.

I can guarantee, at least in my country, that performance is a major reason why people pick valve's number 1 rival instead of Dota 2. EVERY laptop can run League, not every laptop can run dota 2 and the higher you go on the laptop specs, less people can play the game

If Undying had ways of farming faster then yes, but unfortunately he's pretty slow to farm creeps even with early max decay, so he can only really get gold off of kills/assists in teamfights and drums don't have a strong enough effect to justify it.
