Chrono Clock has out performed most other recent full price titles (without knowing how it did on Nutaku), not to mention got an $80k head start thanks to the Kickstarter. Da Capo 3 was probably less impressive, though according to Kouryuu a bit more than half went through the MG store so getting an exact value is hard to do. LoveKami was probably a disappointment since it was designed to cash in on Steam, but it looks to be up to 5-6k range, which is above most $10-$15 games these days.

However, the real issue is that most types of titles are doing poorly these days. But all things being equal, full price moege have been outperforming most other full price titles recently. Comparing to short meme titles going for Steam bucks is difficult because the localization costs and licensing costs for those will be much less, but those types of titles aren't exactly performing remarkably either.


Every studio wants Nekopara, the franchise has hit a million sales worldwide. But that is the exception and none of the (many) clones have come close to matching it.

The Sekai stuff seems well positioned to be profitable. Crowdfunding for full length titles have been strong recently, they have Steam/Nutaku releases, and they happen to have a meaningful PR machine for at least their crowdfunded titles.

MG's moege might be a tad more hit or miss. The Princess Evangile fandisc should do great, but Dal Segno will have a hard time matching Da Capo III which wasn't exactly a smash hit, and it is an open question about how something like SukiSuki will do as a purely MG release (though they have shown recently that some non-Steam titles can do quite well through their main store, just a question of if an unknown moege is one of those types of titles).

A good example is amazingly enough Imopara 1. We have a C, two As, a B, and an E+. Two flats, two mediums, and a large. Doing shit like this is good. Doing one flat/one medium/3 large is fine too if you want to put a higher basis but you better fucking include breast envy for the two lacking. Imopara 2 however, is literally 4 E+s and a AA. This is not fucking okay.

In order to have a good time in a VN without having tasteless bullshit you need a good variance of breast sizes. Its the same as well with ass. Every goddamn heroine doesn't need a massive ass. If I wanted to play Big Booty Bitches the VN experience, I'd go do so. If I wanted Kyonyuus for days I'd play Kyonyuu fantasy. Don't want this shit in my regular moeges, keep it in the hyper-nukiges.

Just for reference, I tend to stray away from pettankos and token lolis towards medium, and if the heroine is likable enough THEN I'll take a kyonyuu.
