Maybe because, now stick with me here, maybe they actually like everything about one race except for one aspect, and they dislike parts of the other races that have the one aspect that they wish the race they liked had?
There's really no good excuse as to why we can't have more flexibility. I really doubt you'd see a lot of super tall Au Ra girls running around if they let you make them taller.

And why is this "flexibility" card not played on the other races? Why can't we have a small Elezen, small Roegadyn and Lalafell the size of a Magitek Reaper while we're at it? Right, because those came with the game, they were taken as granted. But whenever a new thing comes out (and not just limited to this game or an MMO race) it's instantly greeted with a wave of "woe is me this wasn't the way i envisioned it to be!" as if an addition would suddenly have a better chance of transmogrifying into whatever people had in their mind.
And despite all that Au Ra is still the most flexible race in the game because you can be anywhere from a padjal with a tail to a porcelain doll to an anime edgelord.

Any feedback for the bottom glamour and color composition?
I went for the white hair for classic viera look. I'm open to changing it. I tried longer hairs but it kind of made the bunny ears smaller or out of focus so I opted for short hair. Good move?
I've been experimenting with a bunch of bottoms to go with wrangler. I've tried: makai, velveteen, guardian corps, scion adventurer, and hempen pantalettes so far with different colors including white, brown, black, red, and blue.
Boots have been guardian corps, I like how it hugs my legs up to the shin while seeming well armoured. Also decent with dyes.
