>In Raging Tempest, we got "the most broken card" by KoA, Sea Monster of Theseus, a Fusion Non-Effect monster that can be summone with Instant Fusion and is a Tuner. It is Zombie-Type so Mezuki combos. It was the EN081 card of the set.
>In Maximum Crisis, we are getting a Xyz Exclusive card, that is also in the EN081 spot, and the next set, Code of the Duelist, we are getting a Ritual monster despite that in the OCG there were none, so it's probably an exclusive Ritual, and it will be probably be in the same spot, EN081. Both of them will probably be Tuner related considering the last two cards.

That's ok, but how can a Xyz help you to Synchro? Detach material to search a Tuner?
I'm actually curious if that's the case. Can you imagine Zoo players making for example, Trishula after using Drancia with Emeral/Invoker and whathever does that Xyz? (If it does anything)

You forgot to mention that said banlist was an emergency list in both TCG (they literally only got to be played in one YCS and 28/29 of top 32 were PePe IIRC) and OCG in which only that deck got a whole bunch of hits.

It also doesn't take away from the fact that several cards and then the mechanics changes were made after specifically to fuck pendulums over as a whole in large part were PePe's fault. To put it another way, if all pendulum decks were like dinomist and abyss actors I doubt we'd be seeing these mechanics changes and I doubt ASF would've stayed at 3.
