Just started yesterday, the game feels really slow and boring right now. I picked conjurer and every single encounter has been the same and each quest has been go get some shit or go talk to some guy.
Lore has been interesting but the actual gameplay isn't doing for me, world is beautiful though.

CNJ has one of the most boring quest line starts. In my opinion dungeons/group content are the more fun aspects of the game. Levels 1~30 are basically toddler tutorial mode, and levels 1~50 are tutorial mode 2.0. 50~60 the game gets a lot better. If you just follow the MSQ you'll be there in about a week or two of casual play

Healer is one of the more fun classes to play when you know what you're doing, but try some of the other roles out before dismissing things. DPS can be refreshing, and tank imo is one of the easiest/fun roles in later levels

Wow the ARC quests are awful. It feels like they couldn't think of anything compelling to do, so they just said "fuck it, target practice". Now that I've done all of the class quests for everything else, I can say that ARC is the worst by a wide margin.

It's within reach on a smaller server, but requires a vast amount of money on a populous one. You can certainly still buy one, but it will require months of work. Or buying a lot of gil, like $75-$100 worth, maybe more on Balmung. The customization is quite good, there's a lot of options when it comes to decorating and they have some really nice stuff.

There's a two tiered system, houses and apartments. And you can have a personal room if you're in a guild and your guild has a house. I was talking about buying houses when I mentioned vast sums of money, apartments are cheaper. However, an apartment is just a customizable room, it doesn't have a yard and stuff, and has a lower item limit than any type of house. They're supposed to add new apartments regularly, but they almost never add new housing. That's why there's none available on the larger servers, and there almost never will be. They will add more housing with the upcoming expansion, but expect it to be gone within minutes on the larger servers, unless you need to unlock some stuff/do quests to get to the new area, then it may take an 30-40 mins before they're all gone.

Thanks a lot for the previous round of feedback, it was very helpful. These are the hairstyles I liked but didn't post before.

While I'm open to advice, I generally have a preference for shorter hair due to both personal aesthetics, less clipping issues, and generally fits the current wrangler glamour. Also, hair colors seemed the best fit currently but aren't really set in stone.

As always, your thoughts are most welcome - doesn't matter if you like or hate them all, why you do is important to me.
