I can't get my lazy bastard friends to play WoT, and I'm too busy to join a clan, so I have to play most of my battles alone, as in 14/15 tomatos on the team-alone. (full disclosure: I'm merely a green-shitter)
So my question is: how do you guys avoid becoming toxic af, when almost all lost battles are lost, because the 14 other players are too stupid to form simple tactics in their minds, play to their tanks' strengths or even glance at the map just once every battle?
I honestly can't stop hating my teams after a while, when every fucking battle consists of me trying to carry a load of tomatos.

I'm just your run of the mill almost-decent player who checks the map, tries to help his team mates and play to win, and I mostly stay in the tier 6-9 range, as I can't afford to run tier 10s all the time, so I'm more often than not forced to carry as a tier-underdog, which is my own damn fault really.

Well how many battles do you have so far? And like the other anon said at around 5-6k games you switch from being mad to passive aggressive to just losing all faith in your fellow players. Then you reach a point where you only play the most overpowered tanks in the game because its the only tolerable way to play it anymore. They will never learn and they will never listen even if they do speak english. They say they "play for fun" not because they're actually having fun but because their egos can't handle the fact that they are bad at video games and need to learn and git gud. Its what lets people progress to purple, after having grinded out all the shit tanks which drag your ratings and winrate down, by always assuming there's more to learn and asking yourself what you could have done to improve your game.

Don't focus on your winrate, instead focus on staying alive as long as possible while doing as much damage as possible throughout the entirety of the match and learning the maps. Eventually you'll be able to look at the lineup and accurately predict where tanks will go on both teams 95% of the time. Don't bother leading from the front unless you're 100% sure you will win any engagement you'll run into at that point. The tomatoes are just meat shields and if they want people to stop using them like that then they need to actually git the fuck good so you know you can rely on them to make the right choice.

Thanks for the advice. I'm beginning to suspect that me pathologically needing to go down all the tech trees might be a bad idea, as I'm usually playing somewhat stock tanks or grinding lesser tanks to get to the better ones.
As for the meat shields: it's very hard to use them as shields, when they camp in the back, while I frantically try to extend vision for them, hoping they're actually in position to hit anything I spot. Also: lemming trains all day.
I always do some post-mortem considerations, and they mostly boil down to "I was too aggressive", a problem I've had for years and have yet to get under control. I'm so incapable of containing myself, I often find myself at the frontlines in my turrestless, unarmored TDs, which I know is stupid, though it often yields good results.
To make matters worse, I'm a 26k battles green shitter. It took me way too long to actually learn the basic mechanics of the game, and some things I had to get from Youtubers.
I think I'll focus on staying alive from now on, even if that means letting an entire flank go to the enemy team from the get go.

That's another thing. Ignore where your tank's strengths are on the map and instead look at where your dumb ass team has decided to run drooling off to and help them. The other flanks can deal with it unless you're in a fuck off tank like a maus or a hulldown 113/is7. And a common misconception about using the tomatoes as meatshields is staying behind them. You can be using them as meatshields while being far ahead of them. You see, tomatoes generally don't understand reload times or how to use cover properly. So if you want to spot go to an area where the tomatoes on your team will get spotted if they shoot. This way if you can make yourself even slightly smaller of a target their tomatoes will just wind up shooting your tomatoes while you farm damage. What sort of tanks do you like playing the most?

What I find very important is evaluating your position in the team against the make up of the enemy.
Depending on the tank you are playing, you need to know what role you should take in the battle for maximum effect.
The most sure fire way of winning any game is if you can flank the main force of the enemy.
Obviously, because of the "Everyone else on my team is a retard" mentality, you will most likely want to be the one with the momentum for a push. I stay on the defence mainly if my team decided to lemming, so I try to prevent or slow down flank attacks, or if I am bottom tier.
So if you see or feel a group of guys having momentum, you should try supporting them.
I don't know if you ever felt it, but is it fucking amazing if you gel with some random and you get a perfect synergy going. It honestly gets me tingly when I can communicate with some other guy through turret swings and intuition.
If I ever find someone who I feel competent, I go as far as to taking shots for him just to make sure we can stay mobile. I look at HP in amount of hits I have left rather than blunt numbers. Better that there are 2 tanks with 500hp that both can take 2-3 hits rather then me with 800 and the other guy covering behind with 150.

I haven't played KV-85 since the KV-1S split, when KV-1S was THE tier 6 tank to have. I think they nerfed the 122 into oblivion.
Crews can also effect performance, if they are not 100% the spread will be bigger.

Back in the day, KV-3 was at tier 6 along KV-1S, and was the better of the 2 tanks. Almost no one played 1S. Then KV-3 got uptiered and the KV line added, and overnight 1S went from

Then WG had enough of everybody whining and split the KV-1S into tier 5 KV-1S, which in my opinion is redundant and unneded tank, and the KV-85, in process turning 122 from the best into absolute shit gun. Before the nerf it had a rof of 5 or 6 and was a force to be reckoned with.

Whenever you watch a quickybaby replay, it has to be a shitter or someone deliberately playing shitty to farm damage.

There's good players, and there are shit players. But in the middle, there is a golden zone of shit play, but found there is the highest potential of goodgames. Generally, good players are influencing the game towards a win, and don't experience close games because they are in control for the entire match. Contrasted to this, bad players will just die out and lose without anything to note. It's this shitty middle zone of clueless luckmen or passive statpadders that can create a situation where they can clean up everything they failed to control because they don't bother to. Obviously, these replays are the greatest successes, but what you aren't seeing are the majority of failures these ''''people'''' experience.
