I really enjoy her, she's kind of a mix of other characters' abilities but mixed in a way that works.

>Fortify is 50% damage reduction and makes Orisa immune to ALL movement-affecting effects, pop it when a Rein charges and watch him splat himself silly on you

>Supercharger is Mercy damage boost for the entire party for 15 seconds, incredibly powerful

Her biggest weaknesses are low health for a tank (400, same as Zarya but Zarya's Shield regenerates while Orisa's Armor doesn't), no mobility abilities, and a big hitbox. She's an anchor tank best for Defense and on Control maps and needs a healer and anti-flanker to perform best, but her abilities give her awesome utility and she pairs up excellently with all the other tanks.

I would stick to solo for placements because having friends with you will give you a group SR and could fuck up your placements.
After you get ranked, make sure you play a few more games on your own as well because your post-placement SR gains/losses can be really fucking drastic. I lost like 600 SR after playing a few games with an unranked friend immediately after my placements last season.

Just don't go past a 4 man group when you do play with friends since I believe that puts you into queues where you can get matched with full premade teams.

Gerard and Amelie (Who was brainwashed) were preparing for sexy time (or nice cuddles) when Amelie's brainwash took over, she told Gerard to get comfortable while she went into the kitchen (Or wherever the knives are held) and took a knife, walked back into the room, where Gerard was looking at a picture of the two, She crawled onto the bed and he assumed he was about to get laid or something, when he instead received 3-5 stabs into the chest, maybe a few into the neck.
I can't imagine her being able to do this without resistance, thus the cut (or large splotch of blood) on her leg.

I think Orisa needs more health and armor, she feels way too squishy for a tank and that's considering Zarya, Orisa needs either more damage with her weapon, her Halt! needs a larger AoE, her abilities in general need a cooldown reduction and Fortify could use some extra reduction.

There's always one or two DPS who totally deserve to play them. If you're Tracer or Genji or whoever and you're harassing properly and staying alive for more than two minutes at a time, keep doing your thang.

It's the faggots that STILL pick Tracer, Widow, or Shimada Bros. AFTER the team is already 3/6 DPS and then proceed to run straight into a barrier/turret setup every life with no spacial/team awareness that drive me nuts.

I've had some time away from the game since Orisa hit the PTR so my experience with her is pretty limited, but it feels like Winston is far less fragile than Orisa is. With Winston I can jump into people and get a kill on someone and stay alive long enough for help to arrive. With Orisa I don't feel like I can achieve anything without having a healer up my ass 100% of the time, she just seemed very underwhelming as a tank.

How the heck is she supposed to be an anchor when she just dies though? Zarya can bubble a shitload of damage away and her shields give loads of sustain, and can do lots of damage on top of that. Orisa just seems kinda meh in comparison.

That said I did pop a sweet bongo combo with a Pharah barrage earlier, but the rest of the time I felt like I was either being carried by my team killing everyone, or just dying straight away. No middle ground where mistakes seemed like my own and I could actually learn.

Orisa isn't really supposed to be soloing but being with the team. You pretty much use the barriers to give somewhere for your team to set up, thus the anchor portion. If you're going for a push that's when you really use Fortify. You push in and set up the barrier again. You can also CC with Halt or use it to set up key targets for your team to take out. Orisa is more of an offensive anchor while Reinhardt is more of a defensive anchor.

I haven't played Orisa but I've been in a few games where Orisa did that and it was pretty successful. Their deaths really came from flanks.

How is Genji suppose to deal with tanks? If they have a healer you're fucking screwed, he does ass damage and is probably the only DPS who realistically has a chance of being killed by Winston when played correctly.

His ult is buggy as fuck too and slashes can hit and not register, which Blizzard has not fixed since beta but hasn't had any problem nerfing Genji repeatedly.

The very base components needed for a good team composition leaves room for 2 DPS, 3 is pushing it. Since the current meta still revolves around tanks you're going to be seeing most high level compositions having 3 tanks and a healer on all of them, which Genji cannot out-damage.
Tracer can teleport and rewind, and her ult can one-shot tanks and healers.
Sombra can hack and teleport, up close she does good DPS.

Genji does fuck all DPS, his ult is buggy and even if it weren't it'd still be shit since you're better off just going for headshots with your shuriken, and he has no way of combating a 3-tank meta efficiently.
They'll never fix this either because shitters complained Genji was too broken and overpowered in beta.

You can claim he is a harasser but that's a Blizzdrone-tier defense for a serious problem in the balance. You cannot maintain a point on skill alone with any DPS people would try to defend by calling them a "harasser", instead you must rely on both skill and the enemy team being outrageously bad.

If I were to propose a buff it would be that Genji does double damage from behind with his ult and have his reflect work on ALL sources of damage while also making its hitbox more accurate to the animation. Fucking Mei can become invincible to all forms of damage while healing and doesn't have any downside as a tradeoff for this.

Sombra should also have two uzis, it both makes sense aesthetically and would balance her better towards proper DPS.

There are some very glaring problems with it as is but since it's a beta there's a lot of room for hope
problems include but are not limited to

>lightning gun does more damage
>compounding the two previous problems, makes for the Lg being broken
>every character has different stats and movement speeds
>slower characters tend to have more health and bigger hitboxes which isn't a very good trade since they're just easier to hit and faster more slim characters are harder to hit
>each character is given a different passive movement ability that only serves to limit your options instead of just allow everyone to move the same

>namely Anarki who has the ability to burst heal on top of fast movement speed and a slim hitbox
