I've been sorta trying to max out my Pokedex and fuse the captured monsters I run into. The stats I look for are agility for turn order and magic for all my elemental attacks.

Just the cases that got him to fame, IIRC. One of his Mementos lines has him mention other detective work as well. I can try to dig it up, if you'd like.

There's a group of NPCs in summer (early July, I believe?) who mention that he's a regular top scorer on national exams, too, but that's not pushing things too much considering he mentions being extremely particular about his grades for the sake of being wanted by someone (and by the time the game happens, actually struggles with being too busy).

That's the thing, he just did shit the adults wanted to hear. He literally says that he did everything to keep up his reputation among adults/everything the adults wanted him to do. He obviously had no idea how to actually connect with people who didn't understand what it was like to go through what he did, and by the time he met the PT it was already too late for him.

Yaldy did intend him to win, but Igor helped Joker out by sending Morgana. Morgana taught them how to steal hearts so that they didn't turn out like Goro did, and he's also the reason they picked up on him being a traitor because of the pancakes line.

He was pretty obviously cherry picked because he was the angry child full of resentment who would definitely use the first chance he got to take revenge against his shitty dad because he had absolutely nothing to lose (when he says that there was nothing he, a child, could do against Shidou and then he felt like a god or a demon gave him a chance when he discovered the other world).

Loki being able to free the chains on hearts and direct demons individually is pretty OP. You could make an SMTIII style spinoff built entirely on that ability.
The main thing that lets Joker win is Morgana, which was out of Yaldy's control. Without Morgana's guidance they would've had no clue how the Metaverse works and in the best case scenario would've killed Kamoshida. There would've been no Phantom Thieves.
They also wouldn't have figured out how to lower the drawbridge either

He's a little pissant from my experience and he killed dozens of people.
The best part with him in it was him being rused. Than he comes back for a moment, explains his stupid shit and than 'dies' though we never see an on-screen death.

Honestly doesn't seem like they were trying to hide that he was the bad guy.
I don't wanna be that guy but I don't think he's anywhere good as Adachi in terms of overall presentation and how his character was handled.

Yeah, I feel an endless amount of sympathy for the kid but I don't think there's a way for him to legitimately redeem himself or make peace with the PT. His death in the end pretty much ended up being the only choice he made for himself(like the Loki artbook description says it makes you think wonder how much independence he has/if he has any at all) and he could've easily let the PT try to fight cognitive Goro and his shadows off(and he specifies that they would've gotten themselves killed had they tried to fight them off while he was injured while making sure he doesn't get killed).
Because in the end he was a kid who got screwed over just as much(if not moreso) as the rest of the PT but his lack of an early support system drove him to do bad things, so he ended up giving his life for it rather than having a fate worse than death like the rest of the antagonists in the game.

Daymond's one of the better voice actors in the dub, but I'm not really sure how I feel about his performance for Goro's lines. It's not bad, but it feels... a bit too different? I'm not sure if it's on him or the voice direction/localized script, but a lot of his lines (particularly as a party member) end sounding too calm/polite, whereas a lot of Hoshi's lines have a distinctly childish/playful tone to them that isn't really present (or at least not to the same extent) in the corresponding dubbed lines.
